Australia has given Indonesia millions of dollars in assistance following the tsunami, and now this is how they repay us, by potentially lining up an innocent to the firing squad. Australia has done so much for indonesia. We have recently lost 9 of our own people who were on HMAS Kanimbla only there to help and provide aid to your country, when they should have been safe and with their families. Along with the millions of dollars that we have given to you. And i can assure you that Schapelle would have donated to at least of the many tsunami causes we had in Australia. Maybe we should just play it like your country does. Each for their own right? Well Indonesia, Kanimbla is set on it's journey home today. I think Schapelle is innocent. I would like to see the baggage hander workers or Union put preesure on the person or persons who put the drugs in Schapelle's baggage to step forward and attempt their guilt and spare Schapelle life.
This is an atrocity in clear violation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (part 3 article 6). For this woman to be tried in the Indonesian legal system (a system founded by a brutal dictatorship during the 60's), or anyone for that matter, is a joke. It is a disgrace on the part of the Australian legal system. The fact that this woman has to put up with this kind of treatment whilst in prison is in violation of basic human rights, can anyone remember the countries that outlined the universal declaration of Human rights? The manner in which the Indonesion government conducts themselves is beyond comprehension. When you look at the kindness and aid that has been offered to the people of Indonesia by the Australian public throughout their recent devastations, one would think this government might look kindly and fairly upon one of our fellow citizens in a case that surely cannot be seen as "guilty beyond reasonable doubt".

She needs a fair and humane trial. All evidence suggests that she is totally innocent. I know hundreds of thousands of Australians and people throughout the world will vote with their chequebooks and will not holiday in Inodnesia if she is not given a fair trial and if the overwhelming evidence that she is innocent is ignored.
I believe she deserves a fair humane trial and that she is innocent. If she actually committed the offence, please remember the sentence of those responsible for the Bali bombings. A very hard thing to believe that anyone would be stupid enough to take drugs into a drug riddon zone and would lose money on the deal! Also that the Australia Goverment cant do anything to help. i am in absolute disgust over the handling of this case by the Australian Government I cant understand that one moment they help them financially and the next they are saying our hands are tied what a load of rubbish.
