Signatures #7800 through #7900 for the Free Schapella Corby from Bali petition

Reasonable doubt of Corby's guilt exists. Executing her will only deter travellers to Indonesia, because the risk of imprisonment and execution for inoccent people is too great.

She shouldn't be executed for smuggling 4.1 kg of coke. If she murdered somebody she should face death but drug smuggling is not a capital crime. This is symptomatic of a country which has not yet cast of its facist military past (remember East Timor) The death penalty should be reserved for solely for the crime of murder. In the middle east its worse than indonesia where at least this poor girl is facing death for drug smuggling. She is wearing make up, dressing in sexy clothes and presumeably has a boyfriend which would mean death by stoning in Islamic dictatorships like Iran or Saudi Arabia. If Al-Qeada had their way they would force everybody to submit to the same sharia laws. We should be campaigning against all forms of extreme right regimes.

This is what Australians get in return for all the money we have injected in to a poor country's economy via the tourism industry over the years. 88 Australians dead in the bali bombings whilst the culprit gets off with a disgusting sentence of 2 or so years. And now an innocent young girl in jail.. Our soldiers and doctors tireless help to your country's people after the disasters in Nias and Banda Aceh. Thanks Alot Indonesia.

My heart truly goes out to Schapelle. Since the day this story hit the media I have never doubted her innocence. This could happen to any one of us or our family. What a tragedy. To me it is clear that this beautiful person has a pure soul and heart. Her emotions are honest and her pain must be enormous. I am not a religious person but I truly am praying that Schapelle is sent home to a country that believes in her innocence where she can rebuild her life - obviously with alot of support, love and counselling. This poor girl will never be the same again and that simply breaks my heart. Send her home and set her free.

Have I got this right ? Is Schapelle Corby a victim ? I haven't been able to read any details in the newspapers that would allow me to see Schapelle Corby as anything other than a victim. With the lack of information relating to the trial, I find myself wondering what's actually happened in the court room that would enable the people of that country to see her as anything other than innocent, yet from what I can tell from the media, they want her dead ??. I have to assume, that part of the ability to find her guilty, would be to establish that she's of questionable character. Have you read anything of that nature ?, anything that may connect her in any way to the activities she's been accused of ? She's realised just how serious her situation is. Faced with the possible horror of the outcome, she's now fallen in a heap physically and emotionally, who wouldn't. I was stunned to see how she was being treated by the media in the court room today, what a pack of animals. God, what if she's innocent, do those filth have any morals at all. It already seems they're going to jail her at the very least, but I fear she could also be executed, which is horrific, if all they have on her is the bag they found at the airport. Also, it contained marijuana, not heroin for Gods sake ?? In this country, that wouldn't be enough, without a heap of other facts to establish she was a person of the kind usually associated with drugs. The bag alone isn't enough to put anyone in prison, the incident at Quantas of the guy wearing the camel head would be enough for her to establish reasonable doubt, as it's now been proven that it's possible for your luggage to be tampered with, which she's claimed was the case from the outset. The media over there have been screaming for the death penalty. Can these be the same people our young servicemen died helping and we all contributed money etc to help follo

Justice system out of control - NO justice here. How can you give a few years jail to a monster who murders innocent people as a terrorist act and yet execute someone for marajuana - aside the fact i believe she is innocent and just an unwitting pawn caught in horrific circumstances - you people are out of control and need an overhaul on what you think is right and wrong. BALI/INDONESIA - NO GO NO MORE - I also implore our government to cease all aid to such an inhumanitarian civilisation - we feel for the innocent community over there that will suffer but we cannot be seen to be supporting that style of leadership.
