We, the undersigned are requesting that you remove your Pets classified from all your lists. This section of the list is contributing to the animal crisis in our country in that people are using the list to buy, sell, trade and give away pets like they are commodities. Pets are living, feeling creatures and deserve better. Irresponsible owners contribute to millions of pets killed in animal shelters each year for no other reason then due to a lack of homes. Most pets that end in shelters are a result of irresponsible pet ownership which Craigs list is now a contributor. Ebay doesnt even allow live pets on their auctions. In addition, to the list promoting irresponsible pet ownership it allows for the spread of misinformation about the thousands of volunteers trying to rescue pets from these irresponsible owners who think nothing of trading, giving etc. their pets.
