should we be scared of criminals?

Do you actually think a criminal makes you scared, to me its no, just imagine how you would feel if you would break in a house, i would be scared to hell, i feel the criminal is scared alot, and if he see's someone coming to get him he will be so scared he will run off.
You have to be carefull when a criminal comes to your house cause they might be drunk or holding a gun or even a knife, it might be more than one guy so lock all doors and windows and keeping alarms makes it so safe that he cant even enter without the police getting to him and almost killing him.
you should have a baseball bat or a hammer or even a guitar with you just incase someone comes to your house so you can be safe cause they can break doors or try to open the window somehow or the police might be far away.
