The Daley Show's Fake News is more real the supposed "Real" News. The show could really use more time for interviews. They are a tad rushed. Bring on the hour
The only thing better than 1/2 hour of pure genius is 1 hour of it...The Daily Show is the media equivalent of the red pill in the Matrix...or was it the blue one... whatever, it gives you reality.
the Daily Show is the only way I can smile at the end of yet another "bad news day" from Iraq. As long as Bush is in the White House, I think the Daily Show will have more than enough material to fill an hour-long show.
Considering today's climate, one hour is not sufficient time for Jon to review and comment on the evil doers here at home (e.g. Washington, D.C.)and abroad. Might I suggest thirty minutes on U.S. news and the second half of the hour should be devoted to world news.
No more Hollywood guests during the interviews, please. More of Seymour Hersh and the like. The political and media skewering is what makes the show work; the Hollywood crap just diminishes my enjoyment of the show.
Phenomenal idea, since he ppbly won't be running for THE office anytime soon(bummer, Brian Unger for VP sounds good tho, hunh!).He has great timing,half-assed impersonations that rival our own amateurish attempts(woody allen, brando, funny asian accent man, evil villian etc)which only endear him more.He is a curious li'l info sponge, and be it well educated or an autodidact..he hones in on humor&humanity under the Fake news umbrella as well as any comedian.I hope he continues to treat assholier-than-thou and corrupt Politicians,Industrialist s and other unsuspecting insta-celebs as his own harem of prison bitches. Let the Man and his crack team be heard longer..30 minutes longer. Gots to do it,People.Ok~~Milk and Oreos for All..
How can this be a bad thing(tm). Only by makeing me want a whole channel devoted to Fake news. Well we have FNC already, but they take themselves too seriously.
More John and the news, less celebrity interviews. There is *plenty* of material. Also, I'd suggest moving the live version to the 7pm slot, to answer the nightly network news *directly* for maximum contrast and effect!
What a GREAT idea. This is my first look at Craig's List - Will I remember exactly how I was sitting at the computer when this momentous event in my life took place? Probably.
I don't agree with the part about people getting their real news from The Daily Show, but the rest looks good to me! One hour of this show is sorely needed.
Love the show. JON STEWART ROX! It definately needs to be 1hr to allow for more outside news segments, and for more in-depth look at events (and the related satire to be expected forthwith). I will watch religously!
