love the show, would love it more if it was an hour long. definitely the most "fair & balanced" news coverage around.

The only TV news I watch, only way to get through these troubling and depressing times (war, lies, corruption). Iget my other news needs from NYTimes, local paper and online.
I do not agree with this petition. The most important thing is that the daily show remain faithful to its name: e.g. that it remain a DAILY show. A full hour of great comedy every day is too much to expect, even from the best writers in the business. Let's just count our blessings here and not ruin what has to be the best thing on TV.
I'd be hard-pressed to find a better anchor on television. I know it would cost more money to produce an hour show but i'm a selfish gluttonous american citizen and i demand to be satisfied dammit.
I think before we can step up to a full hour format we need to stop recycling the human interest vingnettes. For God's sake Jon, you only put on four shows a week - I know you have better things to do but can we at least get a solid 22 minutes (or whatever it is without commercials) of original material a day? Is that too much to ask? Then we can start thinking about this full hour business.
