We have just recently begun receiving The Daily Show in Europe on CNN
International, once a week, on Sunday, when it is not preempted. One half
hour per week is not enough for we American expats living in Europe. An
hour would be just fine. Consider yourselves lucky, my American compatriots
living in the US, that you get five small doses per week.
Europe needs The Daily Show more than it needs any other news program,
fake or otherwise, coming out of the US. |

The Daily Show is the most authoritative news show on TV. And with the
recent dropping of Crossfire by CNN due in large part to the episode where
Jon Stewart was the guest, it is high time that the hard work and
dedication exhibited by the folks at Comedy Central be given its due
reward: 30 more minutes of the-man-with-the-plan, Jon Stewart. |

The Bush administration is clearly providing enough material for an hour
long program. An hour is really manageable four days a week- make the
guests talk longer or if all else fails have a musical number (jon stewart
could perform show tunes and dance a la Fosse). |

Jon Stewart is great! He's funny, he's SMART, and he knows what
