It has come to our attention that Danny Noriega, a former contestant on Idol is not going to be attending the finale of the show. What also has come to our attention is that, Idol refuses to give him tickets to the show. When he called the show HE WAS ON, they told him the finale was "full" and there was no possible way for him to be there. Attention Idol, it's no secret that your show has been tanking in the rankings compared to previous seasons so why are you ignoring the one contestant that has single-handedly brought in a whole new demographic and fan base to the show? Further, why after all the trouble Noriega went through to get tickets to your finale, do you continue to have a poll on your website that says "which former contestant would you like to see at the finale?". Now I don't know what your intentions are at -said poll- but undeniably your poll is IMPLYING...whoever the winner is of the poll will be seen at the finale. What irks me more about this poll is a lot of Noriega's fans as well as myself have been experiencing an error in the poll, and when we click on his name - we are introduced to a big, fat error screen.

I have no idea of Idol's reasoning for not wanting Danny to be at the finale. And frankly, I cannot think of one reason why they wouldn't want him there. He was a contestant that connected and was loved & adored by so many fans of the show. He left way before his time should have been up, and if American Idol appreciated their viewers (which I sincerely hope they do) - they would give Danny the respect he so rightfully deserves. Why should a contestant who was on the show have to call the show HE WAS ON to plead and beg for tickets? The answer to that question is beyond us. Granted, Idol probably cannot invite all of the previous contestants to the finale - but why would they want to ignore someone as loved and recognizable as Danny? And if Danny Noriega has taught anything to his fans it's to stand up for what you believe in and don't be afraid to be yourself. This may seem like a pety concern to some, but when it comes to Danny Noriega- it's not. Us, Danny Noriega fans will not back down until our demand that he is there and seen at the finale is met. We will write to any media outlet (radio, tv station, news papers, websites), we can. We won't go down without a fight. So attention Idol, let it be known that....the finale ain't full until DANNY NORIEGA IS THERE.
