Howard Dean was the reason I got involved in politics. Other people became involved for the same reason. He stressed the need for the grassroots as opposed to the elite.
Howard Dean brought me back to the Democratic Party with a clear message and a hopeful vision about what it means to be an American. I gave him my time and money and will again.
Republicans have hijacked the words "morals and values". It's time to have someone remind Americans of the value of women being able to choose when to bear children and of the morality of not bombing a country that did NOT attack us.
Howard Dean's intensity and spirit inspired even those most removed from the political process. Until we have someone of his caliber leading the DNC we will be at a serious disadvantage. The DNC would do well to not be complacent on this matter. It's time for a serious change. Otherwise we should just get accustomed to a Republican controlled White House and Congress
Yes! Yes! Yes! Howard Dean has earned his place in the party. We need a Progressive in this position who is ready to bring in the strategy our party needs.
We need someone with the organizational experience and strength of conviction that Howard Dean posesses; a leader who can motivate a disenchanted democratic base is a must.
Such a great idea. What better a man to lead this party in the right direction, towards both stability and voctory. Little upset cause I knda wanted to see him back on the campaign trail in 08'.
The Democratic party needs a candidate that appeals to the "heartland", not a brainy, rich elitist. Put an appealing shill out front and have the brains behind the scenes just like the Rebublicans have done for many years.
