We need Howard Dean, a Democrat from the democratic wing of the Democratic Party! He is the one who stood up for real Democrats all across America. He has a vision and can transplant some backbone into the weak spines of the "inside the Beltway" Democrats who have lost touch with the grassroots.
The Democratic Party needs more than a plan, they need a visionary, and that person is Howard Dean. he has proven that he can both energize and mobilize. Let someone else deal with the fund raising and operational day-to-day, let Howard be Howard.

The last thing this party needs is to become more like Republicans. If we're really not that different, just Republican lite, then what's the point in voting Democrat when you can have the "real thing"?
Dean may not be electable. He is someone who can keep the fire in the belly of the base. He can articulate how we differ from Bush. He is ready for new ideas.
I voted for Nader the last two elections. On November 2, I officially am member of the Democratic party.I think Dean would be the exact prescription needed to heal the divisions and the sickness of the party itself and the cancer being the DLC. If Dean became the new head of the DNC then that would be the end of the DLC. As a Liberal Democrat I can't see the DLC doing anything for our future party. I could care less about the dems that are DLC they are or will be getting voted out anyway by the Republicans or they will just be switching to Republicans anyway.
Howard, (can I call you Howard?) we need you. We need a DNC chairman who will energize Democrats, especially now that so many are feeling hopeless and abandoned by the Democratic Party. I know that you will fight for our values. Please, give us hope!
The time has come for a change in the Democratic Party. The 2004 election showed us that we cannot be successful by trying to be Republican-lite. Howard Dean led a strong grassroots campaign in the Democratic primaries and transformed the current political landscape. I put my trust fully behind the good doctor. He is a man of principle and virtue who has stood up time and time again for core Progressive values. After the damage done to our party by the DLC leadership (which has incidentally lost two straight presidential races and numerous local and federal elections)we need a person of honor and integrity to lead us through this difficult time. We owe it to Howard Dean. He made us proud to be Democrats again. He gave this party a backbone again. It is time to give up this DLC strategy which is marginalizing our base and destroying our party. We need to return to our progressive roots if we want to win any more elections. This is perhaps the most dire moment in the modern history of our party, and I am sure that Howard Dean can lead us through with flying colors. Thank you for this time.
