I'm STILL Pissed Off that you didn't help us with our historic effort in DuPage County (IL), but I think you're the best person to pull the party in the right...make that PROPER...direction.
It is time to become REAL Democrats again, and support organized labor.
Howard Dean has the fire in the belly to do it. Dean will help expose the rape of the USA by the Bush NeoFascists.
Maybe under Dean's guidance the Democratics can support a truly progressive presidential candidate. No more Rpublican Lite nonsense. Let's have party with backbone!
Definitely believe Dean is needed - the Democratic "leaderships" has been so pale and timid on most issues as to thoroughly alienate its own political base...
Howard Dean ignited the passion of the Democratic Party during this election cycle. He has the courage, strength, intelligence, wisdom and motivation to take this on.
I've known Howard Dean for 2-1/2 yrs. Worked for him. He's the only Democrat who knows how to tell the straight truth. He would be excellent as DNC Chairman, better as President.
Dean is the only one (besides Al Gore) who is corageous enough for this huge job we have ahead of us. If there was fraud, as I suspect, we will need to stand up and support an effort, without fear of being told to take a valium, go to bed, and get over it, or else we might as well kiss the
Democratic Party goodbye. Because if they are fixing elections, we will NEVER win. Dean is the man.
Howard Dean will bring a clear message and a FIGHT to the DNC, where McAuliffe has continually failed. Dean will be a welcome change from old complacent politics.
I met Howard Dean in Sun City as the President of the Sun City Democratic Club when he was campaigning in Arizona. I was impressed with him then and I still think he has the courage and correct approach to a Democratic win in 2006 and 2008.
I sincerely hope he will be our leader.
Dean has proven he's a great administrator as Guv. He's proven he's a great fund raiser in the primary. This one is a no-brainer. Dean for DNC Chairman!
Howard Dean invigorated the Democratic Party in 2004 and we need to keep that kind of energy alive in our party. Howard Dean will make an excellent Chairman and keep the Democratic party on target by supporting our values, our rights, and the people of the Democratic wing of the Democratic party.
I hope he does get the position. I'm still sulking (even now!) that he didn't win in the primaries for the Presidential election, but here's a new hope.
I was an ardent Kucinich backer in the Primary but anyone would be better than Terry McAuliff. We need to totally clean the DLC Republicrats out of the top echelons of the DNC.
Howard Dean is a must to head the DNC. I am still convinced we could have won with him as our candidate. I vote for Howard Dean. He speaks clearly, knows what we progressive Dems want and can move this party forward unlike anyone else you could put in that position except Bill Clinton.
Dr. Howard Dean has done more to energize the Democratic base than anyone in the last 15 years I have been active in the Party. He deserves to be DNC Chair
Dr. Dean's leadership and message must continue beyond Nov. 2004. He will recharge the Democratic Party with candor and consistency.
Base constituencies, while crucial to winning elections, must be augmented with interests of other voters. Dean will keep us on track of the things that government controls and avoid campaigns on issues that government cannot control.
I want the Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party to chart our course! Dean is the only politician who had the backbone to stand up to Bush, both as governor and as a candidate. Not only do we owe Dean an enormous debt for energizing the base, but we need his energy and guidance to re-invigorate the party.
Howard Dean always makes concise, intelligent, RESPECTFUL, arguments for the liberal agenda...He should be the new leader of the Democrats...I cant wait for the DLC to dry up and go away. They exagerate their importance. Will they take credit for the ruination of the Democrats? Probably not.
Dean is the logical best choice to lead the DNC. We've seen our worst fears come true - pandering to the extreme right and their legions does not work! Overly reactive tactics do not work! We need a strongly credible, straight forward, unapologetic liberal Democrat who will help to bring the (secular) moral and ethical associations with the word "Democrat", back into the hearts and minds of existing and new democrats. We need a proven democrat leader to mobilize our core traditional base and the newly active democrats, and to keep them mobilized for the long haul. Dean can do it!
