Howard Dean knows the importance of reframing the political debate on moral terms, and the importance of the Democratic Party actually being democratic. We let McAuliffe run things the past few elections, and he failed miserably; it's time for change.
Dean would have beaten Bush.He would have relently argued that the war on Iraq was immoral and made us less safe from terrorism.He will pursue the liberal cause unabashedly and that is the only way Democrats are going to get back in power.
I will only continue my financial support of the Democratic Party if they move in the direction of a truly progressive agenda. Dr. Dean would be the perfect person to head the DNC.

I think that Howard Dean has the right combination of progressive values and practical common sense to help guide the Democratic Party to regain it's voice and effectiveness in American politics.
Our party needs to assume the position of the PARTY that tells the truth, no matter how bad the news might be. It also needs a leader who believes in the people, and who will fight for what's right. Howard Dean can speak well for the party believe in the people and above all he'll ALWAYS tell us the truth. He's got my vote!

Dean has already shown that he can inspire the Democratic base. Playing to the right and trying to accommodate their skewed value system was a mistake. We have to define OUR moral values. Dean would be effective at doing this. Don't forget how many of those who went into the campaign trenches for Kerry started out as Dean supporters. Let's take our party and our country back!
Dean may not be the best candidate for President, but certainly he's the best for DNC chairman, we need a bold progressive voice such as Dean as DNC chair.
