I heartily concur with the senders of this petition. I am proud to sign it and lend my support to have Howard Dean elected as Chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
We still believe in Howard!Margaret Meade said, Never doubt that a small, commited group of individuals can change the world, indeed it is the only thing that has. We can do better.
We need fresh ideas, progressive values, and new leadership - Howard Dean has been proven has effective in leading and in garnerning support with a grassroots appeal. These are essential factors in winning back the White House in '08. Dean for DNC Chair!!
howard dean is our best shot rto reenergize progressives. anyone who takes the time to study his ideas will nkow they will have broad appeal. being gop lite will never get it done.
Howard the DNC needs you and so does America. I am not a registered Democrat. I am an Independent and I think that makes it even more valid. I want a better Democracy too. You don't need to be a registered Dem to want, need or support that.
Dean would make a great Chairman. He is a good fundraiser and he really energizes the base. He is not afraid to go down south and explain to those morons what true moral values are.
Howard is the best choice for this position. I'm an original supporter and feel that only someone with his energy and enthusiasm can lead the Democratic Party at this time.
Howard Dean has earned the respect of Democrats from all across the political spectrum for the great integrity he has shown in complete support of the Democratic ticket. He laid aside ego and acted as a true public servant. I trust him completely. Other party leaders have not inspired me with confidence. I love his passion, his speaking from his heart. He connected with millions of supporters in a way no other candidate ever has. Let's bring his energy and vision to the top leadership post in the Democratic party structure.
I saw Howard Dean speak in Houston, TX during his campaign for President, and I have never been so inspired by a public speaker. He made me feel as if I was watching John F. Kennedy. The man shares my convictions and has the balls to back them up. That's exactly what the Democrats need- vision and balls.
Dean is the only one that can bring this party together, forget all those other guys.Vilsack, well you can forget it, he can't even keep Iowa together, what could he do for the whole Democratic party for the U.S.
I think Howard dean is the man our party needs to get us on the right foot. We need to be more hard hitting on every corporate media news program and have to show strength in what we beleive. Howard Dean has shown himself to be that type of person. He is a man for and about the people. I have full faith in Howard as a leader of this party!
The Democratic Party needs new leadership which is not constrained by allegiance to special interests and is not afraid to speak out forcefully against wrongheaded and dishonest policies and incompetence.
I'm fed up with the DLC moving ever rightwards. They failed in 2000, 2002, and 2004 with the same horrible strategy. ENOUGH! It's time for a change in the party, and Dr. Dean is the man to make that change!
Howard Dean should be the next chairman of DNC because:
1) He has the guts to stand up for what he believes in even if it isn’t popular at the time.
2) He has the capacity to vitalize our base.
3) He has the ingenuity to garner the support of our youth.....the youth of America are our best hope for the future.
I hope that DNC will choose the chairman based on who can reinvigorate Democrats and the Democratic party in the crucial years ahead, rather than on politics (meaning who can pull the most strings in Washington Democrats).
yes, indeed... we cannot allow hypocrites to divide us... we the people must quietly steadfastly stand united against the alleged majority of those knowingly supporting self-serving violence, scientific and philosophical bigotry, and hypocritical debasement of Christianity and the American dream... all of which mocks rudimentary human decency... sorry if i blather on a bit, but this is a time when true morality must supercede vile and cruel delusion... i propose a "united people" aka UP... as opposed to the united states... thanks for the opportunity.
I'm tired of Democrats who care more about getting republican votes than they do my vote. I want a party that will stand up for Democratic Party principles.
Please, it is so obvious that we need some new way of thinking in the Democratic Leadership. Please give Howard a chance--it sends the message that we are a revitalized party.
After losing the presidency in 2000, failing to re-take in 2004, losing the Senate in 2002, it's time to get fresh blood (and brains) at all levels of the DNC. Dr. Dean has shown he has the smarts and judgement to do what's right for the Democratic Party and Liberals/Progressives.
