The DNC has failed twice to elect a president and needs new leadership at the top. Howard Dean revived the Democratic party in 2003. Howard Dean should head the DNC.
I agree. I think someone who can inspire younger voters which Dean clearly did, is what we need in the future. He has new ideas, speaks them succinctly, and is enthusiastic.
I want to heal the divisions in the party. Dean is the only one who can do it. He proved it by keeping us Deanies in line. We all support John Kerry then AND NOW!
One man knew how to stand for something for the Democrats this election and that was Howard Dean. For the future of the party - for the future of America - for the voice of the people - Howard Dean.
I supported you when you were only at 2% in the polls because I knew that you were the only hope for our party. You are still that hope. You can transform the Democratic party into a truly grassroots organization and deliver a strong and compelling message like no one else.
Howard Dean was the only dem candidate that reached into the heart of us..he should have been the party candidate for president. At least if we had gone down ..we would have gone down as who we are not as a facade. As Chair of the DNC, perhaps he can work that magic again and lead us into the future as the great party we really are.
How can you not? Howard Dean proved to be the ONlY Democractic candidate with the ability to rally the people and win their hearts and minds. To this date, it is astounding to me that John Kerry ended up winning the nomination. Not anything against Kerry, rather, rather, I believe that it was the DNC that did Howard in.
Howard Dean has my vote for DNC chair (or president, should he choose to run again)
Howard Dean inspired us all to try to make a difference. He revitalized this campaign with progressive politics [sorely needed as the old school of DNC campaigning wasn't getting new blood into the party. I think he'd be ideal.
Gov. Dean was the first politician that I ever gave money too.
Why? Because he articulated positions that I could relate to. He was a candidate that I wanted to vot FOR rather than being merely an alternative to a lesser choice. The DNC would do itself a great service by putting Gov. Dean at the top of the DNC.
Howard Dean revolutionized and revitalized campaigning. His vision helped to get millions involved with the elections process. That is proof that his leadership is perfect to head the DNC.
We need someone who inspires Democrats - who embodies the Democratic message and who can bring non-voters to the booths.
Howard Dean can be the change the Democratic Party needs before 2006!
We need someone who recognizes that the Democratic Party needs to change and who has the vision to offer a clear alternative to the terrifying agenda that Bush laid out in his press conference. Howard Dean understands that the function of the opposition party is to oppose and he has demonstrated that he has the backbone to lead us in that battle over the next four years.
