Is a disgrace to petitions. It calls millions of people around the world "mentally defective" and has no real persuasive argument other than hurtfully insulting both WOW users and the makers by calling the game “a contagious mental disease". The game is more popular than realised and just because it is a game it says it causes players to “lose all ability to commune with the outside world". Why petition against wow? Why not Msn messenger, why not Trillian or Yahoo messenger. At least with WOW you play and socialise. You become a key member of your own virtual society in a guild rather than a low level lout in a gang.

Ok so some players play the game a lot. Could this not be for valid reasons though. Many people play wow because they are not physically unable to work or spend large time socialising. Some have been made redundant and instead of spending their time lounging around watching day time TV decide to socialise on WOW. Some just love playing this game rather than others why deny such a right?

To add insult to injury this petition has been assigned under the health category.

I Juggle 4 A-levels, an evening class in Accountancy, A job as an Assistant Manager, a Girlfriend, a great social life (both on WOW and in real life)and world of warcraft. What difference does it make how we communicate? Whether by phone or through the phone line we still talk to people, we still communicate. Either way wow allows people who would otherwise spend their lives in front of the TV meet amazing new people around the world who are part of completely different cultures instead of those who socialise "the real world" where murders between cultures happen on a regular basis. Most find a medium between the two. Why deny a humans basic right to freedom of play!

WOW is not for Christmas, WOW is not for life, WOW is for where and when you want it. So defend its honour! support this petition

I support this petition. i hate people who think this game is adisease, isnt wow much better than kids doing drugs or getting involved in gang activity, hell i know i would rather play wow than deal with many things irl, i work full time and take care of my kid and wow is my escape from the rl drama.

Guys if you have the IQ of a coconut and read the title you’d realise that it is a parody accentuating the idiocy of a poll online banning a multi million player game. The only reason your on the internet reading this now you two is because you have nothing better to do with your lives at least the guys who play this are socialising whilst their playing it. secondly "go outside and enjoy the birds and the bee's”, if you weren’t so hypocritical to be crawling threw the internet desperately trying to find something to do with your sad lives then you too could enjoy the birds and the bee’s. you really shouldn’t be so naive as to insult any game especially if you have a hobby or an interest in your life.
