We the undersigned would like the great soul group,The Del Fonics to be inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. This fantastic group has influenced music in every way.Their signature song ,"La La Means I Love You",remains as popular as ever and is played all over the world every day.The group was also self-contained with the majority of the songs written with their producer.This great trio has influenced every one and their catalogue is filled with great material.Please,it's about time to induct this great group.Music would not be the same without them.

Reasons For Induction- Reason 1- They were one of the major influences of 70' soul which has ran all through today".La La Means I Love You" wrote the whole book for all of the groundbreaking soul of The 70's.The Stylistics,Al Greene,Blue Magic.Even The Bee Gees all were influenced from that one masterpiece" La La Means I Love You". Reason 2- There are so many great songs in the catalogue.Most artists have 4 great songs and a lot of average songs.The Delfonics when you hear their albums.Each song is good in its own right.Songs like Hey Love,Break Your Promise,Walk Right Up To The Sun, and their second classic of classics" Didn't I Blow Your Mind This Time". Reason 3- Just excellent craftmanship and artistry.As an influence,this criteria has been met."La La Means I Love You".In my honest opinion has to be among the greatest 20 records ever made. In terms of perfection and influence.This great trio,whose songs will last forever.Deserves induction.It's time.
