I loved this show as a kid! Now that I have my own child, it would be awesome to watch it with him, remembering everything I loved about it as a kid, too, and being able to share that with him.Thanks!
I grew up with this show. I remember it more than any other television-influence in my childhood. I watched it when it was on tv, and I played it when it wasnt on tv, making believe with a hat that my parents got me that looks a lot like Jeff's. This show is brilliant for kids!
I've been waiting for the DVD for the Today's Special to come out. I haven't seen it since it went off the air, and I would really like my daughter to get to know the show. Please if you could make season sets of the show! And maybe a reunion show.Thank you!
'Today's Spcial' was one of my favorite shows growing up and I never missed an episode!!! I would be thrilled if they made a reunion!! It's kind of a family thing and I know that my mother and I would defenitely be sitting down with her to wath it!!!
This was by far and away the BEST show of my youth. My daughter is getting older and I want her to be able to experience the joy I got out of the show. Please make this available to public.
I loved Today's Special. It was was one of the very first TV shows I ever watched in the first 6 years of my life. Everyday when I would get back from Pre School or Kinderguarden I would look forward to watching the show which was usually on at about 2:00PM. All my life I have been waiting for you guys to eventually release the show to VHS and now DVD. Please do. It would be a dream come true to all of us and something out kids can rediscover when we show them the episodes if they are ever realeased. Please make us happy and release them. You will make lots of money from it.
I desperately awaited each airing of this show when i was a kid. I felt so safe in the company of the characters and their store. I remember often watching it with my hair wet because i had to take a bath before it, if i wanted to be allowed to watch it!! hahahah! the warm bath gave an additional feeling of safety and comfort. My little brother and I watched it together, and then watched the Elephant Show. Doctor Who came on after that and i was always disappointed when its theme song began, because i didn't like DW and knew that it meant i had to wait impatiently for the next TS show. I remember wishing i could watch 10 episodes in a row. That seemed like paradise to me!!!! I would pay even a pricey sum to have all of the episodes on dvd. I would give anything to have the chance to share the experience of TS with my children one day. Please release it on DVD! It's too great of a show to disappear!
Pllease make a reunion show as well as DVD's of each season. Now that my children are grown and they are having children, we miss the good shows from the 80's!!!! They watched Today's Special every day and would love to see it again.Thanks,Lori B

Today's Special is sorely missed by a great many people. Whatever the contact you've had pertaining to this show, please know that the numbers of people who miss this show are even higher in number. I have great confidence that if the episodes were brought to DVD, many people would love to own them. I know it would mean a lot to a lot of people. Also, a Today's Special reunion would be so wonderful and magical... just do it at least once for the old fans. We live in a very troubled world, why not bring a bit of joy back into it? Please bring the Today's Special episodes to DVD. Thank you!
This is the best show *ever* made. It has had such a profound impact and influence on mine and my family's lives. It would mean the world to me if it came out on DVD, not only to have it for my family and myself, but to pass down to my children someday.
Please bring the complete season to DVD/ The shows back then were ones you could learn alot from. They were innocent, and helped children use their immagination!
I lov ed this show growing up. It is one of my fondest memories. Now, even at the age of 26 i would very much buy the dvds if they came out. Please make it happen.
I put this show up with Sesame Street (the classic brainchild of Jim Henson and not the over commercialized Elmo-thon of recent years) as far as quality children's programming. The lessons taught during the show still hold true today and the characters are truely timeless (heck the computer doesn't seem too far fetched by today's standards). I've purchased all the VHS volumes but this show really deserves to come to DVD in its entire seasonal catalogue. So few shows today can even scratch the surface of the depth and beauty of this one, both visually and musically.
I fully support this peition in more ways then one. It's a very clean and fun show that I would love to see again because the memories are so fond. I would also like to have it on hand for my children to watch one day. However, since I am currently childless, I fear that VHS may go out of style completely before I will be able to show them the same fun I experienced as a child. Please creat DVD's so that we can all reminisce about our happy chilhood times.
