i love today's special. i watched it all the time growing up. i remember getting in fights with friends about watching it. i always won :) BRING THIS TO DVD PLEASE!!!
This is the greatest show ever made! (except for david the gnome) I wish it were easier to find those old 80's shows from our childhood. My sister and I have a bet over the name of sam's computer. Was it XL or something?
when my oldest son was small. If this show came on and I forgot to get him from playing wherever he was. Boy wouyld he get Mad!!

As a child I used to love this show. As an adult, I love that my child is able to watch the 5 VHS tapes I had to pay over $80 for because it wasn't available on DVD!
I loved this show and watched it religiously as a child. I used to call it "Sam and Muffy". I even named my first cat Penelope! At 27 years old, I still love the show and so does my 7 year old son. A big opportunity is being missed by not having it available on DVD. By putting it on DVD, it would be able to be introduced to a whole new generation.
I remember Muffy as my favorite show. We were so excited when we were sick so we could watch her. Then, one day I remember David the Gnown replacing her. Not that David isn't great, but he is no MUFFY. She just made us happy, my twin sister and big brother and I.
I watched this show like many others growing up. It is not only that the show brings back memories. It is also a way for us to show our children that not all shows have to be violent and loud. My sister and I would wait each night to find out about "Todays Special". It is someting that I can say I learned from and enjoyed watching. It is also a show that is hard to explain and can only have justice in viewing.
Yes! DVD must be made. There are not many wholesome shows for kids to really truly enjoy and learn something from!! Please please please make a DVD set!!!
This show needs to do a reunion and definetly needs to be on DVD! My favorite episode is when the building was going to be torn down but they found the plaque in Muffy's room and Jody took a polaroid of the plaque and ran it to the people! I still remember the song: Hurry Jody get there you have to make it before nine,nine, nine, nine you have to get there before nine! I LOVE IT!
I used to love this show! I couldnt remember the name of it and had been looking for it! I would absolutely love a reunion and/or some copies of the shows!

My favourite show when I grew up, watching it everyday on TVO. Gotta love Mr. Crenshaw. He cracks me up all the time. Muffy and Mrs. McMurchy were funny too. Bring it to DVD. I would snap it up in a second!!!!
I thought no one remembered Today's Special but me! I'm so glad to see someone trying to bring it back. I am 27 years old and have been missing that show for years. Can't wait to see it again!
My daughter who is now 23 use to watch Today's Special everyday together. She was pretty little but we looked forward to it everyday! It would be fun for her two little boys to be able to watch it.
This show came after my time--but my cousin said it was awesome. Bring it back so that my son will be able to enjoy this as much as these other folks did, please!!!

This was pretty much my favorite show when I was little, even though I was probably too young to really remember much of it after it went off the air. If it were to come on DVD, I would have no qualms about buying, and do so in a heartbeat!
This show was absolutely wonderful. With all the junk on TV today, only the stuff coming out of the BBC is tolerable for children. RELEASE THIS SHOW!!!!
Today's Special. It's for everyone. Please bring this show back for a reunion. This is just one more example of how Canadian children's programming is far and away better than its American counterpart.
This was my favourite show when I was a kid, but when I tried explaining it to my bf, he had no idea what I was talking about! I need this show on dvd so I can show him the joy that was Today's Special!
I LOVED "Today's Special" as a kid! I remember racing home when my parents picked me up in the afternoons to catch this show at 6:00 on TVO, and then for the "Elephant Show" at 6:30! Jeff, Jody, Sam, and Muffy were the best! Please bring this show back, if not on TVO for today's generation of kids to watch, then at least on DVD for us '80s kids! Good times! :)
