I use to live for this show when i was like 4 or 5 ( 22 going on 23 you do the math!) Please have it on DVD or do a reunion show! me and a friend of mine were talking about how great it was ! It rocked my socks off hard core!
My favourite show when I was young. I'd buy the DVD not only for myself (hehe) but I'd buy it for every kid I know (hurry and come out with the DVD asap because these kids are growing up fast!).
TODAY'S SPECIAL is an all time classic that is much treasured in our family. To have this show on DVD would be a dream come true for those of us who still believe that Sam Crenshaw is the grandpa we never had and Muffy Mouse has fleas.
THIS SHOW WAS WICKED WHEN I WAS GROWING UP YOU GUYS GOTTA BRING THEM BACK ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY ARE ALL DYING TO DO A REUNION SHOW. THE DVD WOULD BE AN AMAZING KEEPSAKE FOR EVERYONE WHO COULD SHOW IT TO THEIR NEW LITTLE ONES (LIKE I SOON WILL) & EXPOSE THEM EARLY TO WHAT AMAZING EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION IS ALL ABOUT. THIS IS ONE SHOW THAT HELPED MAKE MY GENERATION THE BEST!!!!! EVERYONE WHO HAD A FUN & HAPPY CHILDHOOD KNOWS "THIS" SHOW & REMEMBERS HOW GOOD THEY FELT WATCHING & BEING INCLUDED IN EVERY EPISODE. :)
Tv shows like this just arent made anymore. Lets get this on dvd so those of us who know it can still enjoy it. And so that a new generation of kids can still get a chance to watch quality childrens programing at its best.
This was, hands down, my favorite tv show to watch when I was younger. It's really a shame it no longer runs. It actually had some substance to it compared to the sorry excuses for "quality" programming they have on today.

I LOVED this show! I have been trying to find the name of it for months! My sisters and I were talking about it one day, I said the show where mannequins came to life, and the mouse lived in the mall. ANd here it is, thanks to my friend Leslie! I asked her about it, and she found it for me. PLease put this on DVD, I would watch it. I loved it, and my nieces and nephews would love it too!This is a good show, with POSITIVE attitudes and it teaches you things. I liked it and I would love to see it again!
Wow! I loved this show. I'm 16 now and used to watch the reruns on TVO Kids and PBS (can't remember which one). PLEASE make season DVD sets of all 7 seasons. I'd definately buy each one of them. In 1995 (or around there), when I saw on the front page of my TV Guide that Today's Special would be going off the air for good, I was in shock. I was mad until weeks later. I'd be SO grateful if you shown it on DVD so I could watch every single episode constantly untiol I got sick of it. lol
We need shows like these to return to televsion. There is so much bad content. I would love to get this on dvd for my children, and as a guilty pleasure for myself...

I just thought about this show and Googled it and when I saw there were people talking about it, I had to lend my support. I lvoed this show growing up. Along with Mr. Rogers, it was the best on TV!
I love the after hours in a mall theme which was explored so thoughtfuly that only a child could truly feel the shows intentions regarding the ideas of the modern public/consumer space

I absolutely loved this show as a kid... Many of its songs still get stuck in my head to this day! I would definitely be one of the first in line to get my hands on the DVDs!!
I vaguely remembered this show from my childhood and after searching on the internet, found out the show's title. Now I just wish they would put it out on DVD so I could relive that part of my childhood since the memory of the show has really stuck with me.
Today's Special was my son's favorite show and the reason we bought our first VCR in 1986. I'd buy and give the DVD's to my many grand nieces and nephews whenever it is released. A reunion would be great, too!
i was born in 1989 but i remember watching this sometime in the 90's when the played reruns...my sisters always used to record them and i loved it. yesss! put it on dvd and also come back! PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE!
It's funny to realize just how important Nicklodeon was in the lives of many of us 20-somethings as children. Today's Special was my favorite show when I was a child, and I would love to be able to back and bring all the memories of the show into focus.
My buddy Deano and I just struck up an impromptu conversation about this show and how we both loved it as kids. Todays Special is easily the finest Canadian kids programme of all time and I used to have my mom put this hat on me like the one Geoff used to wear and I'd freeze up like a mannequin when she did. Kids these days need to experience stuff like that.
This show is a favorite childhood past time for me, and I spent a good sum of time trying to find it again! It would be wonderful to have this show put on DVD! Please do!
Please release Today's Special on DVD. I grew up watching that show and I have NEVER forgotten about it. I just listened to one of the audio clips of the theme song and couldn't believe how much of the song I could still sing along too. haha. Bring it back and I'll buy them all!
I would love it they put "Today's Special" in DVD! One ofmy really good friends was addicted to the show and it would just a GREAT gift for her! What fond memories it would bring back!
I would love my 4 year old daughter to be able to watch this show religously, the way i did at her age. I used to cry if i missed the beginning and didn'g find out what the word of the day was..... Good memories, I would love a reunion and especially a DVD set (or VHS) that could be bought in stores. I know u can buy the VHS set on Ebay but i'd like to see it in the stores.
Hi My name is Ross Underwood. And when I was a kid Today's Special was my favorite show and it still is to this day. I would love for TV Ontario to do a Reunion show that would be awesome. I would also like to see TV Ontario come out with all the Today's Special seasons on DVD. So I could watch those great shows again and again seeing as it is not on TV anymore. Keep up the great work. And I know this Today's Special Petition will be a total Success.

I was only five when this show went off the air but I can still remember it. My favorite episode was the balloon one..don't ask me why. I still remember that it was yellow with stars on it and it gets lost. Wow! flash from the past, bring on the DVD!!!
I was only a little girl when the show stopped airing but I still remember it as one of my favorites and can say I would definately buy the dvd for my daughter if it ever came out.
