I loved this show when I was a kid and am now expecting a little one of my own - please get this incredible series to DVD and let us pass this along to another generation!
I remember watching this show when I was quite young. To be perfectly honest, I'd like all the shows to be released onto DVD so that I can buy it for my niece and nephew.

I would love see this show on DVD. Unlike most of today's "kid" shows, Today's Special always taught great lessons in a fun away, and could appeal to both younger kids, teens, and adults.
This was my favorite show when I was little. I now have children and would love for them to be able to watch it also. I would love to see it again too!! It's been a loooong time.

I was born in 1982 and I clearly remember watching when I was growing up. It was one of my favorite shows! I loved Penelope the cat and Muffy the mouse's house. I would love to see Today's Special available on DVD .
and while you are at it, how about all the other classic 80's nick shows, like lost cities of gold, you can't do that on television...I dare say, I would even settle for a BEST OF compilation of these shows.
This show was a wonderful part of my youth. I have been buying show DVDs (like Danger mouse) recently and would love to add this to my collection. 80's TV dvds and merchandise has been selling like crazy these days

I watched the show on PBS when I was a kid. It came on at 1:30 pm, right after Mr. Rogers. My favorite episode was "FRUIT" and the expression on Jeff's face when he bites into the lemon! If I could have one episode, that would be it.

I loved today's special growing up. I loved it so much. There was such a feeling of comfort and imagination from this show. Please put it out on DVD. I would love for my future kids to grow up with it too! Thanks!
This was THEE show when I was a kid. I can remember waiting for it to come on. I even tried to find the theme song on the internet. Make it into a DVD series now!
I think this kids show should be preserved forever on DVD for any child who wants to remember how to imagine, and learn some catchy songs in the process!

Today's Special, was a favorite of my brothers and myself. We talk about the show still all the time, and we would love it if there were a reunion show. For the life of me, I couldn't remember the name of this show and I just spent several hours googling to find it. I LOVED this show as a kid. I really hope it comes out on DVD and I'd love to see a reunion! I'd hope that we'd get the chance to see it in the U.S.!
"Today's Special" was, without a doubt, my FAVORITE show as a child. It wasn't corny or hokey like other shows. There wasn't a day that went by as a kid that I missed it. I wouldn't buy this for my kids, but most DEFINITELY for myself to relive some very fond memories.
I have loved this show as a kid and really cherish the few VHS tapes I have of it. A reunion show or even just a DVD or putting it back on TV would just be outstanding. People today should have the opportunity of seeing this wonderful programme.
I really do hope that they do put this great show back on television. It would totally work fora new generation. Not to mention those nostalgics who have had it with the mindless dribble that's out there segregating kids from the rest of the family. Bring TS back and it will contribute to the young and old watching something entertaining and educating and all around wholesome for all again.
I totally think that TVO has no idea just how large a fanbase this great show has or its potential o find new fans as well. Denying people today this wonderfully made show isn't right. This show is TVO's "Sesame Street" and definitely is as good as any Henson show. I really hope to see it redistributed somehow and I think that DVD would be the best way to do this.
There aren't that many shows anymore, even less that are being made now, that are as high quality and entertaining for many ages than TS as well as transcending their time. It really deserves a fair shot at a comeback on DVD and TV- and areunion show, too.
