this show was my absolute fave, I'm 23 and work with kids now and use dozens of songs from the show in circle time everyday i wish it was on dvd i'd be first in line to buy it
I recently bought a vhs copy of an episode but I would LOVE this and many (uh...ALL) other TVO programs on DVD. TVO had a lot of timeless and superior television programming during the 80s. Please bring it back in DVD or atleast have a marathon on tv!
I would really love to see this show on DVD. I watched it when I was a child and I think it has a lot of great lessons along with being a fun show. My son is 20 mos old and I'd be so happy to show him a quality child's tv show unlike what is currently on.

I live in Lakeland, FL USA. Born in 1978, I grew up watching Today's Special and its 120 episodes. It had a big impact on my life - not to the point that I expect mannequins to come to life or mice to speak in rhyme, but it always made me happy when it came on the air. I really hope the show can be released to DVD. I don't have kids myself, but my nephews are 3 and 4 years old and I know that they would absolutely love the show. Its timeless. Thanks!
I remember watching this **** as a young kid. I love it and would appreciate it if the entire series was on a DVD so I can purchase it to show my kids someday. The reuinion would also be appreicated.
I have not heard ANYTHING about this show for twenty years! I LOVED IT!!! I would buy a hundred copies of the DVD if it ever comes out and I know of SOOO many people that would buy it to!! PLEASE give the world back Today's Special!
In the age we live in, we have the ability to preserve virtually all forms of media indefinitely; so there's reason why we should let wonderful programs from the 1980s disappear forever. Please let's have this show and others like it put out on DVD so today's children will get a special as well!

This show brings back so many memories. My younger brother used to pretend he was Jeff and throw off his hat. He would freeze until I put the hat back on and say hocus pocus ala ma gocus! It was soooo cute :D

This is an important show that needs to re-find its way back on the air. It once pleasured a large audience and it has the chance to reach a new generation of kids out there.
It was a decent children's show. I miss it as well as other Nickledodeon TV shows. Pinwheel. Belle and Sebastion. The Little Princess. They were all very good shows. Maybe after the devastating effects of hurricane Katrina we can focus on relieving this itch we'd like to scratch.

I'm tired of telling Today's Special stories from memory to my 7 children. Releasing a DVD would not only make my day, but make a legend come true in the eyes of 7 little ones. So please, give Jeff his hat back for good.
It's great to see that other people remember one of my favorite TV shows as a kid, and want to revive it on DVD. It's an Awesome idea! I would definatly buy the whole DVD set

OK, I'm not going to be subtle about this. This show was the best- the characters, the music, how it brought families together. The world needs this show! You'd be dumb not to give it a chance at a comeback as a reunion special, set DVDs and putting it on TV! It'll make LOADS od money! Think Jim Henson!

I think Today's Special represents wholesome and quality television. I would count it a privilege if my children would be able to enjoy the type of clean, safe and fun entertainment I enjoyed when I was a child.
