I love this show soooo much! It was my favorite growing up and I am so happy it might come back. Just make sure it will air in the US too because lots of fans don't live in Ontario. Thanks!!!
If anyone from TVO is reading these comments pay attention to all of them. There is a strong enough cult following for this show to be released. Vintage stuff is big right now and releasing this show would add to that. You just have to. Come on TVO, you focus on the kids but what about us, the kids who grew up with this show, focus on us this one time please.
TVO, you HAVE TO release a DVD boxset of all the seasons of Today's Special! You have some great shows on TVOKids now, but you cannot deny that Today's Special is just one those classics that are hard to top today.
I'm hankerin' for some nostalgia, and Today's Special was a big part of my childhood. I was born in 1986, so TVOKids was a big staple for my TV-education.
Please, for all of us, released all the Today's Special episodes on DVD, and PLEASE get everyone back together for a reunion! They don't have to be acting, it could just be everyone responsible for the show getting together and talking! That would be great!
Sadly, the woman who played the mime died last month... But we can still get everyone back to talk! And hopefully Peonelope is still alive, too!

I remember that my Grandfather use to tape the show for me and the rest of the shows from Nick when I was little. He taped them because we didn't get cable. I miss the show. Please bring it back.
Please, please, please, put the Christmas special on DVD! This show is just as good as Sesame Street ever was and deserves to be put on DVD so a new generation can enjoy it.

Everything I learned about life I learned from Today's Special. Learning how to share, laugh, sing, dance, freeze for abnormally long periods of time, how to argue with computers, deal with flying donuts and dancing periscopes, etc. I would love it if "Today's Special" was released for purchase on DVD. It was an essential part of my childhood. I would still KILL for Jodie's red and pink uni-suit! PLEASE MAKE "TODAY'S SPECIAL" AVAILABLE ON DVD!! :)

I grew up on Today's Special. I had a hat that I would wear around the house, and if you knocked off my hat, I would freeze like a manequin(SP!). I would love to see this show come to DVD as well as Pinwheel.
Today's Special is a beloved series from my childhood. Just thinking about it brings back so many fond memories. I would be extraordinarily happy to see the show released on DVD.
I am a nanny for a family of five children; therefore, I feel I am way qualified to say that not only was Today's Special the greatest show in my time . . . I feel that Today's Special would by FAR kick the asses of all of that sensory overload CRAP that they show now! Who the hell is running that station? Should be me! Actually . . . should be everyone signing this petition!
I just want to say that this show meant so much to me as a kid because it was very unique in many ways. My personal thanks go to all 4 actors who played Jeff, Jody, Sam, and Muffy for making this show very memorable. I totally support a reunion show and DVD releases of it and so would many others as well.
It was so much part of our children's life.Especially our 22 yr old has dear memories and talks about it regularly. It would be good to see the show again
I can't believe that TVO would even think about letting go of this jewel! Promote it right, and I'm sure you'll have a goalmine, people thinking you're geniuses, and of course exposing more people to this wonderful show. Anyone who appreciates anything remotely related I'm sure will LOVE it! Plesse, do the right thing and rerelease it in DVD sets, and make a reuinion show!
I watched this when I was young. I cannot believe anyone would NOT consider putting this out on DVD. I remember in the 80's making my parents TAPE it. I would kill to find those tapes!
i was only 5 when that show stopped coming on, but i loved it. you can buy it from e-bay, but they're vhs and we want dvd right? I hope it comes to dvd so that people my age won't think i'm crazy. Thanks
Wow! Today Special was one of those shows that made you feel like you were there with Jeff and Muffy the Mouse and Sam Crenshaw... etc. I had the BIGGEST crush on Jeff... haha. Anyways would love to see the show return and would buy the DVD's in a heartbeat. Cant find all the episodes in VHS now.. :(

Now that I have children of my own, I realize how much Today's Special influenced my own chilhood development. It was a remarkable show. I would love to see it available on DVD so that my kids could get as much out of it as I did as a child.
I loved this show as a kid and I'd like to share it with my kids some day. Having it on DVD would be the perfect way to share this wonderful show with a future generation!
I would cry when I was little if I did not get to see this show. I loved it so much. My favorite episode was the breakfast cereal vacation prize show. I would love to pass this show on to my children.

I loved that show when Nickelodeon used to air it! They should put it on DVD. If they can put all of that other stupid crap out on DVD that's been on TV in the past, why not this gem?
I would no doubt purchase a today's special dvd. It's the only children's show that I can look back on and think how "special" it really was. In addition, I have a hand full of close friends who feel the same way.

I love Today's Special!! It was my favorite childhood program!! My wife never had the chance to see it. I've always wanted so show it to her and pass it on to my children!! PLEASE BRING THIS SHOW TO DVD! It is worth it!
I loved this show when I was growing up. My brother and I watched it everyday. We called it "Sam and Jody". Now I would like for my children to get to enjoy it as I did.
