How many times times did they tax our money (I maybe wrong but I count 4 times) and how long do they want to keep taxing it. No wonder they are having recruiting problems.
You as a government send mem and women off to fight the wars you start. It is time that you took some responsibilty for those mem & women and stop stealing from them. We and them did and do a job like no other work force in this great country. Would it be different Mr Howard if you son or daughter was an ex service man or women? Being sent into harms way,I think not!
As members of the DFRDB scheme we contributed 5.5% of our GROSS salary out of our AFTER TAX salary. Unlike today, our employers at the time contributed NOTHING. To say this scheme is unfunded is a BLOODY DISGRACE. It's not our fault that the Goverment p*ssed the money away so that they can conveniently call the DFRBD scheme "UNFUNDED".
Because we pay tax on our pesions, my whole pesion goes in tax and plenty more from my current wage. It is actually a hinderance to have the bloody thing whilst your still working. We served our country for 20 years and the pension should be tax free from the beginning. Politicans are here to line their own pockets be retirement and it wont change in the future.
