Is the so called gravy train the politicians receive going to be taxed, I sincerely doubt it. So to the sticky fingered bunch in Canberra why hell are you going to tax ours?
We should have the same allowances and benefits as those we serve. It took over 30 years to pay those in the Voyager disaster - we are still being screwed by DFRDB. They only demand we serve then put barriers against us in both DVA and DFRDB
20 years service (65-85)with little or no pay rises in 10 years, of course the pollies will give themselves a pay rise, but who pays for it? US OF COURSE
Pollies will ignore everything unless it is going to affect them personally. You have my full support. This issue is big enough to become an election issue.
Dad paid for his pension, I remember him complaining about the 5.5% compulsory deduction to his army pay for over 25 years.
he is too nice to say anything, but I will, pollies should do the right thing'
my father is a veteran of Vietnam and served our country for over 20years without a grumble, why rob from blokes like that, doesnt loyalty mean anything to politions
I am the partner of a TPI Vietnam Veteran we have 3 dependant children, that adjustment on our DFRDB would be a Big Help..He did his bit, Please politian, do yours..
