Despite the reasons given we believe it is unfair to refuse to allow us to post stories and info about our special children because you think it may upset people.If people are going to diagnose they will do it with anything they stumble across on the internet and in real life.They will also find out they are wrong through the long thorough assesments made by paediatritions.If they are upset then so be it,it is part of life and we should not have to hide our children away just to keep others happy.With all the charities campaigning towards understanding in our eyes it is very wrong to be refused the allowance to do this.

We want to tell others about our children,tell them what life is like,tell them about the conditions our chlidren suffer and the lives that they will lead.The aim is to stop ignorance regarding the disabilities,the ignorance we get as parents,to promote understanding of both us and our children,so others can see things with open eyes,understand,not pass judgement and help promote inclusion.

We want the right to do this on Netmums.Not to be told it will upset others or that some idiots may self diagnose or that the contact a parent a-z is the same thing-because it isn't.All that gives is a few facts for people wh are actually searching for it.It's not those people we want to educate.It's those who do not know,those who haven't had cause to find out about these things.
