I used to baby-sit all the time and the children would bargain with me so that they could stay up and watch the old Disney shows. Please bring them back and people WILL watch!!! It will improve the channel so much!
Although I enjoy today's channel, I have to believe that there is a place in television for the "classic" Disney that we all grew up with... PLEASE open "Vault Disney" and put vintage Disney back on the air!

I miss the old Disney Channel. I used to watch a lot of old shows and movies on Disney. As such - Avonlea, Brotherly Love, Danger Bay, Zorro, Micky Mouse Club, and lots of the movies. It would be aswome if we could get a Classic Disney Channel. Right now I never watch the new Disney, because in my opinion- it sucks.
As the adult in my house who pays for Cable (and the original Disney Channel being a reason I got it in the first place, I would like the older shows back! I am not a teenager, and I hate it that what I was paying for (as a premium channelfor many years I may add) is now aimed at just young children, tweens and young tweens... they don't pay the cable or satelite bills!!!!
Yes and PLEASE bring back the Disney Show Inside Out - it was excellent and I always watched for it to highlight different attractions, dining, resorts, and all of the magical WDW stuff it could until my next trip! NJ
Would love see the old shows. One of the reasons I originally ordered the Disney Channel years ago. The new shows may appeal to teens and younger but not to adults, who by the way pay for the channel.
Bring back the Disney channel for the families. Some of the best times my family had was waiting for the disney movie to come on. IT was something we could all enjoy
I'm 18. I'm from Napa, CA. I miss Classic Disney cartoons, shows, and movies. one of my favorites was Donalds quack attack. Now on the Disney Channel I watch House of Mouse in hopes to see a Donald Duck cartoon. Lets all work hard to get the Disney magic that Walt created back on television. I WILL NEVER GIVE UP TRYING.
Although much of early morning Disney Channel programs offer small children and toddlers something to watch and learn from, later day programing appears to be filled with politicaly correct TV. Those at Disney seem to to be putting re-runs a head of original programing, which plays over and over again, leaving the small fries bored.
Disney is about the company - not about the MAN we know as Uncle Walt. But that is how it goes when many of those at the top seek to improve shadeholder profits without regard for quality.
I for one would like to see Disney as Disney does best - without all the MBA's profit set minds - and that takes us to the petiton to ask for something like the Disney Vault program, whic I favor.
We all loved the old Disney movies that were once on tv. Especially the Mouseketeers! We also miss the Disney Inside Out Show. Why doen't the clannel show more shows about the parks, such as the parades at the holidays. We really missed that this year on Easter. Please bring the magic back.

It is a sad shame what has happened to the Disney Channel and Toon Disney. Back in the 80s and 90s Disney had some of the greatest cartoons ever like Ducktales, Chip n Dale, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, etc and now none of them can be seen on TV today. Instead, Disney Channel is showing a bunch of shows featuring teenyboppers with love problems, ABC has turned into anime central (like every other cartoon station has) and Toon Disney is no longer even worthy of being called Toon Disney. I suggest the Walt Disney Company take a good long look at what they are putting out there now and realize that none of it can hold a candle to the Disney Channel in the 80s and early 90s. Open up the classic Toon Disney vault and give us what we want becuase great cartoons like Gummi Bears, Ducktales, and the others dont deserve to be locked up. Do it for the people who grew up watching those great cartoons and the kids of today who havent even heard of the Gummi Bears or Darkwing Duck.
I want the old Disney Channel to come back I miss it very much. Also they need to put back on the old programs like Good Morning Mickey,Donald Duck Presents,The Swamp Fox,Zorro,Davy Crockett The Mickey Mouse Club.These are the shows and cartoons that I have not seen in years.Another program show that I've enjoyed a lot was called The Scheme Of things.It's a half hour show about science. Please find a way to return these shows and cartoons back to the Disney Channel where they belong.Thank you so much for your time & help.

Disney was created for all in mind and the classic disney channels and shows such that actually show WDW are what make many want to go there again and again
While I can never condone failure to make progress or change, I can also never condone the blatant disregard for what made Disney a great company. Disneyland or Disney World would never have flourished if all the attractions were based on "Kim Possible" or "Rollie Pollie Olie." In the words of Walt, "It all began with a mouse." But, now, on the disney channel, one cannot even see a classic Mickey Mouse cartoon. While the current Disney channel has its merits, its content pales in comarison with the material that was created with Walt at the helm. I am thirty years old, and a self-admitted Disney fanatic. As a 30 year old, it is MY demographic that spends the money, and makes the decisions as to what to watch, what to buy, and where to vacation. It could only benefit Disney to create a channel where i can watch the cartoons and movies i watched on the Disney channel, years ago, during my formative years. This is the material I watched growing up. There were also several other cartoons available to me during these years, but I feel no desire to petition the makers of the "Smurfs" or any other brand of cartoon to make their work available. Disney was on a higher level. A Disney Channel with this classic material as a child has turned me into an adult who loves Disney, and spends quite a bit of money on a regular basis at the Disney Parks. If i were growing up now, with the current Disney channel lineup, i doubt it would have had the same effect. It would be just another "Smurfs," or some other cartoon which i cannot even remember the name. Please allow me, as well as the next generation of potential Disney fans to experience the magic that Disney created years ago.

My family used to love the Disney Channel, especially the older programs. My kids are now grown but still miss watching the old Disney movies, the old Disneyland shows, and the Disney Channel only programming like Dumbo's Circus and the Mickey Mouse Club. Please please please bring these things back.
I loved the old shows that were on! Care bears Old Gummi bears and that show with the blue bird and the other muppet kin dof guys and that woman they lived with in the trr house!
i do love the shows on disney channel now but i just signed this petition to help fans of vault disney out if vault disney comes back i will watch it i really didnt grow up on disney i mostly did with nick so i know how it feels to want to get these shows back because i want the old nick shows to come back on nickelodeon i think nick will b airing them during the summer cuz of the compliants and petitions of many people as a result disney might do the same mayb not this summer but mayb soon disney and nickelodeon r in competition with each other so if one does something to get more viewers the other will 2 since nick is airing its old shows disney might soon do it 2 so during the summer try watching the old nick shows so nick can get its rating up from old shows more then the new ones because if they get a lot of viewers disney might soon do the same with there old shows like chip n dale zorro and may more u know more then me lol
I love Kim Possible. I'm sick of watching some of these shows waste away at the 65 episode policy. The shows that I love are leaving and are sent to Disney's "graveyard" Toon Disney. I don't want Kim Possible to be there too! This needs to come to an end.
I would definetly like to see something like this be made.. The Disney Channel was one of my favorite things to watch as a kid and I would like to see them bring all the classic shows/movies back.

Replay the original 1955-1958 Mickey Mouse Club shows (all 360 of them)in their entirety on the Disney Channel
this year-The 50th anniversary of the show. Also replay the old Walt Disney Presents shows.
I can remember all the great movies and cartoons that com as an early age for even me.I am 46 and still love Disney.When I was young I can recall black and white Mickey and Minie.Some of the best movies ever are,"Old Yeller,Where the Red Fern grows".Why not keep them coming.it's so much better and more comfortable with you children and grandchildren watching than a Night Mare on Elm Street and so forth.I would be upset not to have them 4-ever.

Valt Disney or a Disney Family Channel is something that is greatly needed. It would give Disney a built in market of people from 1 to 100+. Imagine being able to market to an entire family at the same time. The Disney classic shows are timeless. We all want it!

I remember when the disney channel first came on on my cable and I thought it was great with all the classic shows. I'm pretty much ticked off cause they took off vault disney with all the zorro shows. It's a shame that all they care about now is stupid idiotic shows such as thats so raven proud family even stevens lizzie mcguire its all stupid stuff. Just like everyone else they have to follow "society" and can't have the classic shows anymore
