The students at the Devine Middle School feel like they are too restricted because they are forced to sit in certain order. We the students feel like we are being treated like we are still in Elementary/Intermediate school. We would like to peacefully resolve this conflict. Here are the following reasons we think this rule is too extreme:
1. We already have uniforms
2. Our shirts must be tucked in at all times.
3. We can only wear certain jackets. (no pullovers)
4. No hats are allowed.
5. No skinny jeans.
6. Hair can only be a certain length (boys)
7. We can not change or highlight our hair during the year.
8. We are not allowed to bring certain materials. (Sharpies, White-out, etc.)
9. Some bathrooms do not have doors.
10. We are not allowed to wear certain clothes
11. Make-up is not allowed to be too distracting.
12. Certain jewerly is not allowed.
13. We are tempted with vending machines we cannot use until school is over.

As you can see we are already very limited to the freedom that we have at school, please don't take away this the little freedom that we have. We work hard in school all day and lunch is basiclly the only free time that we have, if we can't choose where we want to sit, we don't feel like we are heard.
