They deff need bullet proof vests. Its unfair for them not too. They save lives and help out too, so they deserve to be safe just like the rest of the police force.

If they have to be trained to be part of the police force,then why shouldn't they be protected the same as the rest of the police force?

As my husband and myself are both Drug Indiction Task officers and we both go out everyday and risk our lives with our dogs, I believe if we have to wear a vest everyday we are out on the job they should too. Both of our K-9 canines have vest and I have had to purchase them ourselfs. Its a expensive thing but hey, ya gotta have them. We lost our first dog after 4 yrs. on the force, and now we dont go out with out it. Its a life saver. I SUPPORT THIS 110%. McCall

K9 Git Ander Ammendment request, let's make it more certain of a conviction to kill a Police K9. Regardless of wearing a badge or not, it the decision of the individual to end a Police Officers' life. Dog or human is of equal importance.
