Patty Duke turns in a remarkable, soul-stirring, passionate, believable and interesting performance as NEELY O'HARA. IM READY TO GO BACK TO THE "VALLEY"
GET THIS MOVIE OUT NOW!!!! WHO ARE THE IDOTS THAT MAKE THESE DECISIONS???IF MARIAH CAREY'S DULL "GLITTER" (PUN INTENDED) IS OUT ON DVD, "VOD'S" SHOULD BE AS WELL. WHO EVER HOLDS THE RIGHT TO THIS FILMS RELEASE SHOULD BE BEHEADED FOR KEEPIN' THIS AMERICA CINEMA CLASSIC HOSTAGE. OH GOD, QUICK I THINK IM GOIN' TO BE SICK!.... GIMMIE ANOTHER DOLL!!!!!!!!!!
I support this petition. And include an isolated music track...this was John Williams' first Oscar nomination for underscore adaption...let's hear it loud and clear!
Guys:
Give Neely O'Hara and Patty Duke some residuals. Not to mention the great Susan Hayward as Helen Lawson. Let's also add the Judy Garland recording of "I'll Plant My Own Tree" and Judy's wardrobe shots.
You have to climb Mount Everest to reach the Valley of the Dolls, but release the DVD and it will fly off the shelves. Restore it, load it with features, and they will come.
I'm not a petition signer ordinarily, but when I see a cause I can get behind... well, I'll sign gladly. Valley of the Dolls is the greatest movie ever made. It deserves a DVD.
It's ridiculous this isn't already out, considering its built-in cult audience. I have introduced many friends to its pleasures, and own the complete script, the original movie poster (but sadly not the lunchbox), and of course the worn-out VHS.
Get with it, Fox!
I t is ridiculous that this film has not already been released on dvd. This is one of the most popular cult films around, and a virtual time capsule of the sixties. Please release asap!
Im so frustrated waiting for the release of VALLEY OF THE DOLLS that i caught a draft in my panties and im home sick in bed and in desperate need of a dose of dolls and wigs and lots of eyeliner to soothe my nerves..Helpppp
