I think that Dolly has really came along way and is a huge successful magazine and I admire that, however it has come to my attention that the magazine promotes and conveys bad themes towards young teenage girls who practically see this magazine as a bible on how to live their lives. Dolly always promote that girls should always stay individual and be themselves however you turn the page and there's a story on what to wear right now, what makeup to wear, and how to "be cool at school". Sometimes Dolly may have articles where you categorise the social groups in schools such as the "geeks" and the "popular girls" I wish that this magazine would just come out of this stage and start promoting things worth while like achieving your goals and your wildest dreams without having to feel bad about not looking as good on the girl on the cover or in the pages. I will not pay $5.50 any more to be constantly tormented, I just wish that Dolly would convey more important messages to all these girls out there who look to you guys for inspiration. Help me fight the war on Dolly!!

Well i think Dolly is orright it helps young grils understand their body and how to look after their bodies, teaching them fashion and whatever. I mean all the dresses in it or clothes does anyone really buy them? yeah they say aww i wish i had that but they dont exactly go and buy it just coz it says.. if they did then thats their choice. And what about people who tell others the their life storys in it. I read it sometimes but i dont think i need to know about AIDS and all that just yet. Ive only just figured out how to look after my body properlly. I'll read anything because i love reading and THAT is my hobby. SO ROCK ON DOLLY YOU'RE ONLY SHOWING PEOPLE HOW TO UNDERSTAND THEMSELF'S AND OTHERS. everyone is beautiful but everyone could be more beautiful than they already are.

Yeah, well i think Dolly is a pretty awesome mag...though it does seem to influence teenagers alot on many bad things. I think this is half the reason why there are so many teen pregnancies. That's all they talk about!...Is sex!

I believe that Dolly should be atleast changed in the approach they are taking. Sure they have some great articles on bullying and things like that but the articles in regards to drinking and parties and safe sex shouldn't be there. This magazine is aimed at younger teenagers so the articles should pertain to their interests and age group. Not filling their heads and giving them a whole lot of crap they don't need to worry about for a long time to come. Our society is increasingly being pressured by the media on how to look and feel. Even though there young teenagers there still kids and very easily influenced. Let kids be kids I say.

I support this petition against Dolly (hence my signing it). It suggests 'plus-size' models are the 'it thing' in an article, I then turn the page to find they have contradicted themselves, as the girl in the ad for Roxy is far from 'plus size'. I used to read Dolly, the wool was then removed from my eyes and I saw Dolly for the brain-numbing shit it is. The majority of pre-teen girls read this magazine, amd it saddens me deeply to think of the young women who will exist in next decade's society. Burn the shitastic magazine, the only thing that's recycled is it's content, same goes for Girlfriend. Study environmental science instead, and for God's sake get some good music into you! Queens Of The Stone Age etc.

broooo... 1stly this is a petition, if your not gunna agree or gunna argue piss off, coz ur still a number on the petition fucking idiots. when i was younger i was all into dolly, nd my mum usto never let me have them cos they were "all about parties, boys and how to look good" ...after hiding them under my bed for a few years, i can now fully agree with her. WHO THE FUCK WANTS TO TEACH A FUCKING 13 YEAR OLD GIRL HOW TO APPLY EYELINER OR HOW TO NOT HAVE HER DRINK SPIKED. what age group is dolly aimed at anyway? cause i stoped reading them at like 14.. they should specify more cos it is the young girls who are reading them and the age group they are writing for is to broad, no one who is like 16, 17 is going to read dolly so why the fuck write about things relevant to them???? the drinking age is 18 and im in no way saying dont drink till ur 18, but also dont promote it to girls who havent even been theough fucking puberty!!!!

HHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAA lets all ask dolly doctor about our smelly vaginas! Or diss some effin celebs while we're at it. AND BTW I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PETITION, I JUST WANTED TO SAY MY PIECE OF MIND! Although dolly may have some good parts about bullying, the rest is superficial beauty and ideas put into teenagers heads. BE INDUVIDUAL! why follow celebs??????
