Some animals need meat to survive, such as lions, as their bodies need certain nutrients from the meat. Even if you are an animal who doesn\'t, you aren\'t smart enough to care or their is no other way to obtain food. Humans on the other hand do not need meat to survive, and there are alternatives available, unlike wild animals. So it is not excuse to say that most animals eat meat so why can\'t I. YOU are smart enough to make the decision to stop eating animals. If you actually make that excuse, then you may be just as smart as those wild animals. You have to realize that every animal on this planet thinks and feels just the way you do, just not as complicated. You might as well eat humans too, if you don\'t care about eating animals that is. Be brave, and eat right.

to the person below me: although sometimes i feel like it is only human nature to eat other species of animals...there are times when i don't because of many reasons. it is morally wrong to raise and to kill excessive amounts of animals in inhumane ways. (human beings to do not really need to consume as much meat as they do...actually they don't need meat at all) there is a myth stating that if you don't eat meat you aren't getting enough protein.
