Obain Auttouoman is our teacher and an inspiration to Fenway High School and Boston Arts Academy students. In 1991, Obain came to America after being jailed in the Ivory Coast for protesting the government. After 13 years as an upstanding citizen and amazing math teacher, the Immigration Department is going to deport Mr. Auttouoman and rip him out of our school in the middle of the year.

The immigration officials admit he is not a criminal or a terrorist but they are just going along with procedure. They are willing to harm the education of students just to satisfy the Washington bureaucracy.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT to save our teacher by March 4th! Please sign to tell President Bush and Michael Chertoff, Director of Homeland Security, to think about the welfare of the Fenway High School students. If they really want to No Child Left Behind they should keep our teacher in America!

This is terrible. The government should at least allow him to petition for refugee status in a country other than Ivory Coast so he doesn't have to go back to that place and be arrested.If he didn't do anything wrong he should be allowed to be here. It's actions like this that encourage people to hate us.Those people who say they are just following procedure make me sick. The Nazis were just following procedure too. You always have a choice. If everyone would always choose to do the right thing regardless of the law the government would never be able to do anything wrong ever again.A 'patriot', your comments don't belong here. This isn't a petition supporting the deportation. Go start your own petition. And no the government doesn't love us. The people in government love their power and will do what ever is in their own best interests. People love people they know personally. Bureaucrats don't see the people they affect personally so there's no love.

Doesn't anyone realize that the problem is that we are just sitting down and making petitions to stop Bush from doing stupid. Why don't we just kick him out, I believe there is a rule that states that if enough signatures are made by the citizens of America, we can take him out of office.

These parasites come into our country, they steal jobs that Americans should have, and they don't give anything back. They get high on drugs, go to hospitals, cost millions of dollars in health care expenses, and since they have no money or insurance, the hospital doesn't get any payment and goes bankrupt. i think its stupid to take your teacher away! i dont understand why they have to take hin away if he isnt a terrorist or a criminal, thats f!ckin stupid!! i have an amazing teacher thats been with her students throughout the year and helping them, and if she was deported, then i'd be so pissed, i hope they wont take yoiur teacher away!!
