refugee status in a country other than Ivory Coast so he
doesn't have to go back to that place and be

Obain Auttouoman is our teacher and an inspiration to Fenway High School and Boston Arts Academy students. In 1991, Obain came to America after being jailed in the Ivory Coast for protesting the government. After 13 years as an upstanding citizen and amazing math teacher, the Immigration Department is going to deport Mr. Auttouoman and rip him out of our school in the middle of the year.
