At least give this man another court date!! You should take a closer look at the benefits of allowing this teacher to stay in USA. Listen to what is being said!
Clearly Mr. Auttouman is not a threat to the country and is doing wonderful work for our society. He is only helping our economy and future! No need to hurt the kids that he has worked so hard to help!
Our countries foundation is based upon giving refuge to persecuted immigrants. Our country is made up wholely of immigrants. We must strengthen our country by honoring our history. As a former math teacher I know the importance of our keeping talented individuals.
Overspending on beauractic institutions coupled with a disconnect between the letter of the law and the spirit....furthermore, No Child Left Behind is a scam and unfunded mandate. They were virtually driven out of San Francisco, (the fascisit who are force- feeding these lies), and under the gise(sp) of 'testing'. Measurement is very ineffective. This is what we get for a silver- spoon in the white house. Apathetic american public is even more depressing. Free the man for Christ sake.......it's good to see action but unfortunate that it takes a man's life on- the- line to make things happen. Dissent is the true form of patriotism!!
Please do not force our colleague & friend, Obain Auttouoman, back to Ivory Coast simply because it can be done. This is an obvious misuse of power by immigration officials, who openly admit Mr. Auttouoman is neither a criminal or a terrorist. It is important that we in this country continue to do our best to do what is right. Obain's deportation is not right.
this man is contributing to the education and welfare of the children of the united states of america. do not export this teacher who has only done good by serving our country through teaching.
If immigration officials state that he is neither a criminal nor a terrorist, why deport him?! He is a teacher and a good teacher at that. Teachers spend the most time with children and support them grow into adults. Don't take him away from his students!
It seems totally unfair to deport Obain Auttouman. I hope that the voices of all of his students and the many people rallying to support his case will make a difference!
this is capitalism at its best...(err...should i say worst??). LET HIM STAY. 'just following procedure'...exactly---what is the POINT of following a 'procedure' that only demeans the foundations this country was built on?? let us not forget the original dreams of our founding fathers...please.
Mr. Bush, As a teacher myself, I know how important it is to have committed, dedicated, and energetic teachers in our schools. Please do not allow Mr. Auttouoman to be deported. Let him continue to serve our children and provide them with excellent teaching, stability, and a strong role model.
I am a trustee and the proud parent of a Fenway High 2004 graduate. Mr. Auttouoman is an inspiration to many students and a valuable resource to the Fenway Community. Please reconsider your position on his deportation. He has much to give the students at Fenway. Thank you.
Obain Auttouman, I love this man, ever since k2 at the mary lyon school obain has watched me grown up till i graduated middle school, he taught every student well including me, I bet he knows more american history then half the teachers in america, Including GEROGE W BUSH!
Mr. Auttouoman has earned the respect of many. Please do not subject him to danger in his homeland -- he is doing a wonderful job of inspiring students right here in America.
Obin has been involved in this society for so long. It will be crual to deport him because of a mistake he made. We need more of his kind in this society.
Dr. Hyacinth Ntchobo
The students supporting this wonderful teacher demonstrate to the rest of you what thiks countrfy is really about. Shame on you for not understanding this.
