Obain and i have been friends for many years. He had been a great teacher and friend. I would hate to see him go. I support Obain staying one hundred percent!!!
The boston school system needs role model like Obain for our chidren.

I have worked with Obain Auttouoman in the Boston Public School System for the past 5 years. He is deeply committed to his student and helping them succeed in life. It is imperative that we continue to keep teachers of this quality in our public school system. He is a true inspiration to all of us--both students and faculty. Please support the legislation to keep him in this country.
Teaching is a mostly thankless job that burns out hundreds of qualified people every year. Please do this to keep a glimmer of inspiration to others in this field.
This man is taking the job of an American citizen. We need teachers, but we need American teachers who speak good English and understand our culture and history. There are teachers looking for jobs right now. This man broke the law. He should go back to his own country and help children there.
Tell me why we are focusing our attention on a worthy resident, teacher, and respected member of the community? Our tax dollars diverted to the INS should be better spent.
I'm mixed about this issue. I don't want people here that don't belong here legally. However, if the man is an upstanding citizen and is contributing then why fix something that isn't broken....

While illegal immigrants run across the border and give birth to their children and then live on our welfare system, this man has given more than he has taken away, teaching in an inner city school to as risk teens. This man should be considered for political asylum given his prior unlawful imprisonment. This is exactly why Americans are so disenchanted with the US government, deport a person worthy of citizenship, and keep a person who does nothing, but give birth across the border.
I attended and graduated from Fenway. The quality of people who work there is unmatched and of the highest quality. To deport a person who is a member of this team, one who has spent his adult life teaching our youth, would be a travesty. The man is an asset by and far
