ray manzerak and ronnie krieger from the original doors have started a new "doors 21st century" band which i dont agree with.. they took ian astbury to sing jim's song. and some other drummer and bassist i believe..that cant be happening..... john densmore(original drummer) jim morrisons parents and jim's girlfriend pam's parents are sueing this band sayin its not rite its not orignal and its definanlty not the doors!..although i dont want to argue with any doors members..i dont think what ray and ronnie are doin is rite..they say jim would've liked it, liked the idea..but i just dont kno..please sign and leave feedback!!!!

they are not sueing john densmore was in the new bad for a wile but left i think it is a good thing that they started the new bad my father listen to them when he was younger and now a new age of people can enjoy it. it may not sound the same but hay if jim and the origanal bad were still around they would change some of the rythams around but like i said before the new band is the best thing to come around

I must admit that I do not see the problem here. The Doors were a great band...this is true. They are however, not Gods by any means. At the end of the day who really gives a shit. Is your life really affected by their name? Does anything change? NO! There are more pressing matters in the world right now..I dont mean world peace..I mean I need sleep! Please take a step back and realize there are grown men calling each other names on here, who have never met, and may have become friends if they did...OVER THE NAME OF A BAND and a legacy left from a junkie??????? you are a fucking moron. you hardly can create complete sentences, and you can't spell. i don't support this petition, as much as i liked the original line up, who cares? let the guys do what they are going to do, they were the doors too, just like jim was the doors so is ray and so on. let these guys do their thing, and stop acting like morrison walked on holy ground.

Anyone who thinks D21C is only in it for the money is stupid. The name of the group is meaningless as far as the music goes. Ian Astbury was a great find and does not mock or copy Jim Morrison--he is a true vocal talent unto himself. If John Densmore can't play the game he shouldn't try to write the rules. A petition to bury the group forever is INSANE. I believe in what Ray and Robbie are doing for us, the fans.

i dont support this,i went to the gig about 1 or 2 years bac at the nia in birmingham, it was the best gig ive ever been to and would go again & so would my freinds, i was'nt there first time around to c jim (not old enough)but the event was just buzzin with fans. long live the doors

The dc21 live show is awesome... of course they should be allowed to play their music live.John Densmore is just against it cause he's too ill to tour.With so much shit masquerading as music right now we need this. "Ronnie" and Ray are right.They're also touring with the original Vanilla Fudge. If u r unfamiliar with the Fudge check them out... brilliant.My fave Fudge Album is "renaissance" but "near the beginning" and the 1st album are just as cool.

First of all, learn to spell, or type, and secondly, it's Robbie not Ronnie. I saw The Doors of the 21st Century in Melbourne, Australia in February and they were fantastic, best thing I have ever done was pay $300 for a VIP ticket. Ian was not trying to be Jim, he was fantastic in his own right. If I never see another rock show again it will not matter as I have died and gone to heaven. I have seen my idols, albeit minus Jim.

This Is Definately NOT A Signature Opposing The Greatest Band Ever!!Ian is Ian!!!He is not trying to be Jim!!The guys have a right to keep their great music alive to share with their supporting fans while they can! We only live once, do what ya need to. They are artists and i for one am the luckiest chic in the world to have met them with Ian~~ GO D21C!!!

The Doors. one of the greates groups to ever roam the stages of the world. i do support their revival, however, there is only ONE Jim Morrison. he would not dig what is being done here. after all, he was a poet, an artist. now, he is being impersonated. this mocking is not flattering
