Wendy's recently raised the price of the 99 cent double stack to 1.29. The peoples in the Nashville area are outraged. I don't know if this is a nation wide campaign or not but the double stack was the best 99 cent burger in the world. Wendy's please do the right thing for us blue collar folks. Reduce the price of the double stack back down to 99 cents.

C'mon Dave would have wanted it that way!!!

Wendy's is a business, they can price items at whatever price they want. But that is beyond the point, many Wendy's restaurants price their double-stacks at different prices - some are $1.19, some $1.29, some $1.09, some $.99 some at other prices, it's really dependant upon the franchise company. And all restaurants do this, I'm sure you young-idiots won't remember when all of McDonald's combos were the same price and then they raised them. Besides, most of you idiots still order a $.99 Double Stack with a $.99 fry and a $.99 coke and walk off thinking that that's what you're paying for them, when you don't actually end up paying that, but end up spending quite a bit more.

the double stack is a mean sandwich, but $1.29 is a travesty. That guy is right about the salad bar too.

I too am kind of mad at this price change. The service has gotten worse and the prices have gotten higher. I used to go to wendys because of how clean they were. Then when they started getting dirty I went to them because of how cheap they were. Now the only thing that kept me going to Wendys is gone.

What is the deal?!? i really need that extra 30 cents! LOL,jk, but really, McDonalds is totally raising prices too. every year on the bus 2 camp we get Mickey D's and i order chicken mcnugget happy meal and oreo mflurry. every year. and every year its $4.94. but this year it was $5.28! its not a $5 difference or anyhting, but STILL. whats the deal? Cheers to you, Mark, Dave would NOT have wanted this, and that lil kid Wendy prolly culdnt have afforded this either...

Christ Wendy! Lower the price of the double stack. The goddammed baby isn't mine and you can't punish the whole world for your whoring around by adding 30 cents to your most cherished delicacy...

Don't raise the price of bargain basement food unless minimum wage goes up. Fair?
