Ebay has lost its freaking mind. I have over 6700 feedback rating, and because of 2 losers from France who claimed we shipped too slow, WHAM...we are suspended. Ebay says I can sell again when my DSR raises back up...how the hell do you raise your DSR if you are not allowed to sell?!! Ebay is forcing small business people out, and cutting their nose to spite their face. Today I get a notice that they want the small amount I still owe in fees. I removed my checking account from paypal, and from ebay auto pay. Well, until they decide that SELLERS are important, and not just BUYERS...lets just say there will be a snowball fight way down south before they get a dime!!
Ive been selling on ebay for over 10 years, and now today I find myself just one bad feedback or one bad DSR away from suspension, yet I have 100% feedback, all praises, all customers happy. Or if users just rate me 4stars for the next few months im suspended. Either way im done, one wonders what eBays plans are? were all doomed if policies dont change and fast.
BTW, when buyers see seller FB of 94%, they won\\\'t go to the seller FB history to find out that he/she had just 13 items sold within last 12 months with 1 NEUTRAL feedback but in previous years he/she had 300-400 only positive feedbacks. Majority of buyers simple will NOT buy from this seller. As said,\\\
Sellers can no longer leave neutral or negative feedback? Like who pays eBay\'s bills and salaries? Duh? It\'s the SELLERS! Most insane idea they have had lately. So, if a buyer is a complete moron (and they are out there, trust me!) how does the seller warn other sellers that they are going to be stiffed or threatened? IT USED TO BE VIA FEEDBACK!
I was a seller, and have sold over a thousand items on ebay. I had an influx of negative feedbacks within a week, from buyers who wanted to take it out on me, and it knocked me out because ebay suspended my account. This is unfair, and ebay has horrible customer support. I fully support the petition, and Ebay should be treated as a monopoly so other auction companies have a chance to make it.
Just heard about this on SBS news. Ridiculous. So sellers now have their hands tied. Will stop all ebaying the moment this new system comes in. Very disappointed! It's one of these single stupid decision that bring whole companies down. I'd predict that if this system comes in, ebay will be gone withing 2 years.
For us that are little in selling on eBay to help support our cause here like mine is to help feed shelter dogs I rescue .I will lose and not be able to sell on eBay cause of the new change with feed backs.This is how we grow and show we do sell good item.And also shows who not to let buy when they don`t pay.Ebay you are hurting a lot of sellers here.
I am leaving Ebay after 6 years of selling...You have made all the hard work i put in as an honest seller, seem pointless now. I have never been so angry in my life!
Why are there so little signatures?I am a powerseller about to lose my account because of a fraud buyer refusing to close a false dispute against me.Ebay refuse to listen. I am going to take the whole thing to watchdog!
I charged $1.30 less than it cost me to ship, and got points off for my shipping charges.Yet another stupid idea from people with too much money and too much time on their hands.
Not that ebay gives a hoot what happens to sellers. There will come a day they regret having buyers AND sellers with not a single good thing to say about them.

Ebay! I don't pay you to jerk my chain by having people rate categories you create just to serve your own agenda. Your company can go to hell. I don't need you for my bread and butter. I would have to be totally stupid to pay you to bully me.
This new feedback system will really hurt the sellers. E bay needs to clean up THIER ACT and fix whats been broken/. And stop shoving terrible new FEEDback and disfunctional listing forns down our throats.They need to FIX 100 other things that have been broken and clean up all the scammers that drive away buyers.
Way too many clueless buyers will leave poor ratings for shipping time. Sellers cannot control USPS. Do you think buyers are actually going to check the postmark and rate accordingly? Get real!
Most buyers just think the postage is the only part of shipping. They are oblivious to the costs of bubble wrap, boxes, and labels. Yahoo Auctions here I come.
Any feedback system Must be equal. This is so one sided, and not what ebay is all about. A real big step (negative) in the wrong direction. Wake Up Uncle Bill!
This is completely one-sided and we are at the mercy of the Buyers. We have no control over shipping time. This should not bepart of the feedback. Why would Buyers be able to complain about the shipping cost when it is clearly posted before bidding.
This is the worst idea, who is the idiot that came up with this wretched feedback system, time to go. you are driving sellers away. buyers are difficult enough to please. Are you trying to kill us off..well I hope you are happy. We sellers are not.
This issue will force many sellers out of business. This feedback system does not allow for any of the problems sellers have with buyers, its one sided and unfair. This will force many of us, myself included to move to other sites!
Although I have participated on eBay more frequently from the buyer's perspective, I have also had great success from the seller's side. Why are they trying to fix what wasn't broken in the first place???!!!
I couldn't believe it when I got the message notifying sellers of these upcoming changes. I don't see what good can come out of this where the sellers are concerned. Why does the buyer get the option of complaining about the cost of shipping when it's right there in black and white before they even bid on the item! Please reconsider, Ebay. This is a huge mistake.
This is an awful idea - one of eBay's worst. I have no control over shipping speed. In the last month 11 1st class packages have taqken 5 days, 4 have taken 7 days and 1 took 11 days. I ship the day after payment but will get negged for the actions of the postal service. Make it quality of packing, not speed over which we have no control! Power seller with 100% FB
Every ebay change is slanted toward the buyer, the seller has to accept it or stop selling on ebay. This is unfair to loyal sellers who are at the mercy of the post office and disgruntled buyers. AND you're doing this the same time as the postal rate hike. Sellers have never had much of a say on about Ebay's policies. This is a huge disservice to us and you are leaving us at the mercy of newbies and whomever else wants to take a shot at the seller. Please reconsider and help your loyal sellers for a change.
I have 100% feedback and agree with the other experienced sellers about this terrible idea! Shipping and handling issues have many variables and buyers don't always think about this or read the listings thoroughly. You're leaving sellers defenseless and practically asking bad buyers to find ways to hurt our hard won reputations undeservedly! Please work with your sellers in a more positive way!!!!
How will buyers rate communication when there isn't any 99% of the time. How can buyers rate shipping and handling when they don't know what it involves???
