This practice is aiding and abetting at the very least. EBay needs to set an ethical example, or be made an example in a court of law. Private anything usually shows that there are things to hide.

Well done to whoever started this petition because Ebay can't let people get away with selling things like that. This world is so perverted now that nowhere is safe and it is about time somebody stamps down on sick child porn pics. I thought Ebay had policies like that, but obviously they are making money by paedophiles visiting to buy those pics. Good thinking from whoever did this petition,at least I will be alert of all this and hopefully Ebay will take action.
Well... Child porn is disgusting and I wish that there was no such thing as it, but let's face it-eBay is a huge site and often the items for sale could have code names or something like that to prevent people catching on to what they are actually selling. They would never manage to get rid of all of it.
Oh, by the way, I don't consider that picture you have shown us to be porn... But I guess that if you did, this petition would be shut down.
So, I think that the moral basis of this is sound. But is it practical? That is the question.

I'm not sure eBay will do anything on the basis of the photos being bought by pedophiles, but 'Whoever' made a good point about falsifying seller identities.
Ebay should not be accountable for every item people traffic there, just like a bookstore shouldn't have to suport all the content of all the books sold. Ebay is just an easy target; it's harder to go after all the photographers taking the PICS you dont like. Jeez, leave Ebay alone. Ebay's not violating any body's rights.
These type photos are only the forerunners to a lot of these kids being involved in a lot worse. No they are not innocent pictures they are exploitaion of the youngsters.

Sad to think that this really is only the tip of the iceberg. If you don't act now, then when? How many more children need to be humiliated and assulted before we finally understand that this is where it starts, this is the boiling point. When the pot boils over, that is when another child is molested or murdered for the pleasure of an adult. That is the reality. Step up ebay, the time is now.
I support this petition. Since I have yet to sign my own petition, I would like to thank everyone for their support. I wish those with a differing opinion would at least comprehend the subject matter correctly before blasting it.
C-C-C-Combo Breaker!!!!! I think that a lot of people need to look at the laws of the United States Constitution before so readily supporting such a petition. If you outlaw pictures such as these, think of what else the government will be able to outlaw in the future. I am totally against child molestation, as it is psychologically damaging to the children involved, but this is nothing like that!!! Do you really want to sacrifice your civil liberties just to increase security??
