We have come together as a community to fight for the parole of an inmate who has changed his life. James E. Crowe was a problem teen who made many bad choices. They followed him into his young adulthood. James Crowe was convicted of armed robbery when he was 19 years old. James Crowe Has struggled with his drug addiction as well as his alcoholism for much of his life. James Crowe is a very skilled mason, a very kind person, and extremely intelligent. James Crowe has never been what you would call a god fearing man his entire life. He never believed in "absurdities" like that. He was a very logical person. James Crowe violated his parole in September of 2005 due to his drug and alcohol dependency. He was later charged with criminal damage to property after a car accident. James Crowe is No longer a dangerous criminal. He has grown older and wiser. James Crowe found god before he was arrested in 2005. He began the fight against his addiction, and had made the decision to turn his life around and over to god. James Crowe is a grown man now. James Crowe is a Christian who studies his bible on a daily basis. He has become an inspiration to all those in his midst. Most people who knew him then and know him now would say that this was well beyond what they expected from him. We believe he has been reformed in so many ways. He wants to do good for all; instead of saying he can be good. He lets his spirit shine in the light of everyone. He is a model prisoner, a loyal friend, an obedient Christian, and the light in the darkness to many. This man is helping to change lives inside the prison and outside the prison walls with his faith and obedience and knowledge of god and his word. We believe James Crowe would be an asset to our community, as well as a light to those in the darkness. We come before you as tax payers, land owners, business owners, and influential people, to ask for a review of his parole. We come together as a community asking for his release.
