Phantom of the Opera is my favorite musical, so when I heard it was being made into a movie, I was a bit skeptical. But once Miss Rossum opened her mouth, the skeptics went away. Emmy Rossum is blessed with an ethereal and haunting quality to her sound, one that could rival Sarah Brightman's (the original Christine Daae), which, needless to say, is saying much. Emmy Rossum is here to stay, I can assure you. She's a genuinely good person to look up to and is an amazing actress as well. As she grows older she will better her craft, I'm sure, but she's already proven that she can take on roles of depth, such as a young Audrey Hepburn and Christine Daae. Plus, she's gorgeous. She has this old Hollywood look combined with temporary American culture and deep, soulful eyes that seem to go right through you. She's intelligent and modest; she doesn't feel the need to show her good figure to the world...isn't it pretty obvious by now that I am quite a fan?
