Bus Stop 12 in Yosemite National Park is pointless and dangerous during the winter season. While housekeeping camp is closed during the winter us the employees are the only ones using this bus stop. Dispite the fact that the walk to employee housing from this stop is extremely icy and dangerous, we are forced to use it. Even when one of or bus drivers was kind enough to drop us off at the wellness center instead of this bus stop, she was ticketed by a ranger. Overall I see no use for bus stop 12 during the winter season. But instead we should add a stop at the wellness center. The walk to employee housing from the wellness center is shorter and has dirt periodically covered over the ice to prevent slipping. Its time for something to be done about stop 12, housekeeping camp, during the winter months.
