its wrong beond explaining. i read a artical in the paper the other day about stoping the slaughter. the problem is theres so many horses, a BIG persent are just b-ing shot cause the factorys dont even want them....i say SET THEM FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We as americans need to save our heritage!!!!!!!!! Without horses the western states would not be states. These animals gave the pioneers courage and strenght to forge out a living in wild areas of this country!! The goverment has NO right to KILL these beuitful animals. What have these horses done to be killed for?? just being born?? its time the goverment stays out of this. LEAVE THE HORSES ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do the owners of slaughtert houses sleep at night? I completly understand that there really aren't enough loving homes to save every horse from slaughter. The wrong doing lies not in the slaughter of horses in general but in the process of slaughtering. It is just despicable. This sort of thing makes me ashamed to be an American!
