When i first heard of the Eragon movie, I thought: "Noooooooooooooooooooo!!" I wanted to make it into a movie when I became a director! So, I immediatly began searching for acters, screenshots, trailers, ANYTHING. When I ran across some startling news... THE MOVIE WAS TO BE DONE IN ANIME! My reaction was worse than the first. "What?" Said my ignorant mother. "What!" I sobbed "what! it`s to be done in anime, thats what!" "so?" says my ignorant mother (she has never read the books). The first thougt that had popped inyo my head was Eragon with the trademark 2 FOOT LONG SPIKEY ANIME HAIR!!!! Terrifing, surely you agree. I felt a wave of anger toward Paolini. How could he do this?!?!?!? How?!?!?!?
I could never sell the characters in one of my storys off to be an ANIME MOVIE!!!! God save you Eragon. I really pity you. I really do. I know the first reply I`m going to get to this is: " Its not that bad. You`re overreacting." I`m not. MY LIFE IS OVER!!!!!!!! Don`t get me wrong though. I`m gonna end up owning the damned thing, I just know it.

I will only agree to watch anime of eragon if it is exactly the same way as the book was no scene missing or deleted. and it def should not be like the eragon movie as it ruined the original story. but i liked the eragon and dragon from the movie.

I'd agree only if they make an anime series that matches the books perfectly. I've read the Eragon 12 times, Eldest 5 times, and Brisinger 4 times.

Hell yeah, it will open the doors to much more realism of some of the powers, etc. that is just too expensive and complicated to render in 3d CGI. it will help the movie and book series alot.

The movie super sucked...it was total garbage. How Paolinin even allowed this to show was demeaning. I've read both Eragon and Eldest twice and think that the anime (as long as it sticks to the books) will be great. They get a good team to do the art work in a good streaming anime(not some bull-$#!t still moment crap) and it should be excellent. Yes it is true that we have the technology to make a great movie but the 1st one sucked so bad that I don't trust it, The characters were nothing like the book described. The way the story changed for the movie..WTF!...Garbage. Eragon, Arya, the Urgals...the movie characters sucked...Make the anime, but don't disgrace the story please.

I have dreams of Eragon becoming an anime, it should. I mean seriously, they should have a series that shows what Eragon and gang does when they're not saving lives.

erm well accually ned, I LOVE to read and in my mind when I am reading Eragon I imagine the characters in anime.I think it would be a good Idea because there are alot of anime lovers and the people who made it anime will get alot of monny. I have to say I was a little disapionted when I saw Arya, she's like my favorite character and she should have had a more beautifull actress playing her. But Eragon in the movie looks cute to so I think we should decide this whole anime thing after we see the movie.

I agree with the movie being animated, as for the Anime art style, I think that would fit the style of the book best. When I seen the live cast of the movie, I was rather discussed because some of the acters don't look anythin like what I pictured the characters to be like. Counting greatly for the acter playing as Murtagh, that was my biggest disapointment. I mean no offence to anyone in anyway. I could go on for hours on how I'd make the movie, but that would be pointless and meaningless in all mannors. -SadowWolf
