How difficult can it be to convert this to a "free" format (there are several options) so OpenSource Software can be used to play this ? It would litterally take a single person less than a day to set it up. Are you sure this is not a political desission instead of a technical one ?

How can it be? The EU wants Microsoft to sell Windows without the MS-Mediaplayer to be independent in the choice, but now, what happened? The EU uses a format what comes with the MS-Mediaplayer. Who the f*** didn't think till the end? So please use a free Codec like theora to build your streams. There are a lot of other Operating-Systems out there in the world.

L'accès aux vidéos devraient être possible pour tout le monde, toute plateforme confondu. Avec votre décision vous isolez volontairement une partie des citoyens européen.
