Non seulement il est souhaitable que les pouvoirs publics montrent l'exemple en matière dse standards ouverts pour que ceuxci se généralisent; mais surtout il y a pour eux une véritable obligation morale de le faire : sans standards ouverts, en effet, une discrimination entre les citoyens est crée dans l'accès à des informations essentielles pour l'exercice de la citoyenneté.
This is a service paid for by every EU citizen. Therefore every EU citizen should (potentially) have access to it and not only those who have bought a particular computer/operating system.
Do the right thing and rise above been bolted to certain operating systems via crafty marketing techniques.
If you cannot use it on any Operating System you should not be using it at all.
We are enfoced to waste resources to benefit few... Release the open resource to benefit all.... Open resource projects has to be the first step, especially in public sector. otherwise you pay with our money costs that you can avoid, and enforce us to paying costs we cant avoid because of you. So as an EU citizen demand the public sector start to use "Open Resource" Linux, BSDs etc. for the above reasons among others...
This disenfranchises a large section of the community that do not have access to Microsoft or Mac based systems. If a little more effort were spent on promoting/pioneering open standards there would be less dependency on one or two products.

Tout à fait honteux de proposer un format fermé et propriétaire. Votre note à l'égard des systèmes libres montre votre enchaînement à un monopole malsain pour l'innovation et la liberté de la connaissance.
How come the E.U. council, on the one hand, is fighting for competition in software and, on the other hand, supports the Microsoft monopoly with its own website technology? Moreover, your technology choice is discriminating, and against all E.U. rules! How can you get further when your legs try to move opposite to one another?

française optent de plus en plus pour les logiciels libres, mais les institutions européennes se reportent sur Windows (cohérence quand tu nous tiens)
Access to the decision making process cannot require proprietory formats. If it is, as the council insists, our Europe then we must be allowed to see the council's activities without having to use commercial solutions.
