Evan Tanner was a truly unique human being and a warrior. Coupling that with the amount of fights he had in the UFC and his reign as champion, he deserves to be in the UFC Hall of Fame.
I support this petition.

I am from Sweden, i love Evans, he is so UN-AMERICAN. He was not cocky, he is so UN-MMA like. Not the typical rampage, evans, ortiz person..he was more. He was a person who cared about the weaker..RIP from Sweden
Evan Tanner embodied that of a true Martial artist. The way he thought, acted, and carried him self IN AND OUT of the octagon. His actions speak highly of MMA, and how he gave it his all in every fight is something every fighter should try to live up to.
As former champion, he should be rightfully honored with a place in history
Evan DEFINITELY deserves to be inducted in to the UFC Hall of Fame. He is/was a very important piece to the puzzle for MMA and the UFC alike. It would be a disgrace for him to NOT be inducted!
This is a must. He brought a lot of fans to the game before the TUF years. I'm a little choked that UFC. com doesn't have a huge tribute to this truly great man. PLEASE honor Evan's memory. I've never been this effected by the death of a man I didn't know.
I support this petition. One of the first pioneers of the sport. True warrior, most people started watching after TUF 1 so many people dont know who he is but he is one of the true warriors of the yesteryears.
Tanner was perhaps the most unique fighter in UFC history. His second fight with Franklin showed his heart and will to win. This guy had a never-say-die attitude. A for sure Hall of Famer in my book.
I support this petition.
Evan was a ufc former middleweight champion and defeated the majority of the opposition he faced in the Octagon, he deserves his place in the HOF.
I think Tanner was one of the very few fighters who didn't care about the money or the fame. He did it for the love of the sport. I think that deserves a Hall of Fame induction.
