What worries me is the number of people who get their news from celebrity rants, and comedies like "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart". These actors, entertainers (Rosie has not been entertaining in years) all have their opinions, as we all do. Just because they can command a national forum when they open their mouths does not make them intelligent or correct in their opinions. It's also easy to play Monday morning quarterback. People need to get their news from real news sources, which are held to some type of standard, and verification of facts, in most cases. Rosie O'Donnell is pathetic and irresponsible, and I will boycott ABC and it's sponsors until she is gone.

As an employee of the Port Authority of NY&NJ in the field of fire rescue, formerly of structural maintenace, it appears Ms. O'Donnell has been watching Star Trek too long. Structural steel put together in various ways (welds, bolts...) can fail under intense heat. Not only the heat,but also by the catastrophic blow WTC 7 took from the collapse of Tower 1. I worked in these buildings before and after the '93 bombing, and also worked on "the pile". Shame on her being a person from Brooklyn. Brooklyn lost many people. God rest their souls. As a military member. I believe that Rosie has every right to say these crazy things. A part of my job is defending her right to say this crap.
