If it came down to a choice between cancelling "The Simpsons" and reinstating "FamilyGuy" or keeping Homer & Co. but not airing new "Family Guy" episodes, I would choose to cancel the ever staler Simpsons for the sake of returning "Family Guy" to the place of prominence it deserves. That's how strongly I (and many others) feel about "Family Guy." It IS that much better than the perennially popular Simpsons.

I think it was more to do with the sales of the DVD's than the petitions that swung Fox's opinion of Family Guy. But I guess it can't hurt! Keep fighting people, i've heard rumours of a new series of the show itself but all I know for certain is the movie! Keep it real homies!
