I support this petition, and I love van helsing.<3 it was such an amazing movie. The casting was perfect. Wow. Please keep them, and give us the fans another amazing van helsing movie.
I heavily support this pettition, because that was the best movie with Van Helsing in it I have ever friggin' seen! Hugh Jackman (smexy man!) portrayed him better than Edward Van Sloan did in the original Dracula (and that says something). Not to metion, Carl was perfectly, and that is not an exageration, PERFECTLY cast for this movie. I support this pettion heavily!!!! By the way, does anyone else notice the cross on Van Helsing chest when he is a werewolf in the movie?
Don`t close down the Van Helsing fan side please! I love this movie,it made me look at vampires in a new way and i\\m planning to write a novel about vampires like the ones in Van Helsing. I can't believe that our going to do this. The cast that was for the movie Van Helsing was perfec t. Thay were made for eachother. I don't know who your asking about thoughts and opinions about Van Helsing the movie but your not asking the fans. You wouldn't be saying that not enough people iked it to make another movie if you did. When people making lord of the rings wanted opinions ,they went to the fans. There are enough fans personal website to let you know how much Van Helsing and the cast was loved. Please,go to the fans .Check out the internet first please for the fans please.make a second movie and use the same cast.
I can't believe this!!!! There should be no way they can do that!!! No Van Helsing didn't have the best reviews, but it was a blockbuster hit!!! If you bother to listen to the fans; people either love it or hate it!! And everyone I know who has seen it, loves it! So Ha!
if universal opened up their eyes they would see how many people actually love van helsing! we want a second movie with the same cast! and bring anna back!!!!
i really liked the movie and i strongly belive that you should not change the original cast and somehow bring kate beckinsale's character back. i really liked her character and was mad that she died.
I can't believe Universal would even THINK of recasting the roles from VH! The way Jackman, Roxburgh, Schuler, and Wenham all played off each other was wonderful to watch. Igor was great too, but didn't survive...I'm hoping with all my heart and soul that they'll either get the original cast back, or just drop the whole thing.
This is an outrage! The only reason that Van Helsing swayed me into watching the movie was the actors! Richard Roxbraugh and Hugh Jackman are the perfect actors for the roles of Dracula and Van Helsing!
It would be a huge let down if you didn't use the same cast and put these movies on the big sceen. I can say that I won't be buying or renting the other movies if you recast.
I would really love to see Hugh Jackman once more as Van Helsing. He was the one that made the role fully come to life and it would be a shame to take away that life that only Hugh Jackman could bring to the role. The same thing goes to the original actors that played the characters in the first film.
There is potential for a great sequel. If they keep the same actors and follow with Gabriel's past. If they made a story that deal with him being the archangel Gabriel I would love to see it. What they should not do is try to mash all the other monsters into the sequel.
Recasting Van Helsing, are you crazy!!!!! Hugh Jackman is Gabriel Van Helsing. No one else can play the part as well and I don't want anyone else than Hugh for playing Van Helsing II
Roxburgh has played the best Dracula yet, especially for the dramatic feel and aesthetics of this version of the story. The sequls wouldnt be the same without the Jackman crew, recasting would be an utter disaster. : D A sequel would do awesome at the cinemas!
The movie was great as it was, if they are going to make a sequel they should at least put some effort into it an keep the original cast. If the original cast doesn't want to do it then don't make it.
Van Helsing was a wonderful movie, and I fully believe NO ONE plays Dracula as well as Richard Roxburgh.Don't recast. Just hold your horses for a year and get the proper actors.
