OK, I completely support this petition's purpose however, I know this isn't gonna get us anywhere. Just for those few who decide to defend their favorite bands, you need to remember that you're whole attempt at being punk is being shitted on by the media. You claim to be your own person yet you conform to what the supposed conception of "punk" is. Good thing I passed that phase before I was 12. And Fat Mike, I'm 14 so please don't categorize us ALL. Bottom line is that Good Charlotte is shit. If I asked them anything about music theory (what's something really easy like "what's a chromatic scale?") they'd probably run off and write a song about how they got teased and get millions of dollars off of it. Maybe I should do that... And one more thing about them is they're self-pitying because their dad left. BIG FUCKING DEAL!!! I know people who's dad's have left them only for them to get raped for 9 years by their stepdad. Or maybe they forgot about all of the poverty-ridden kids in Africa or even in America. Their lives don't seem too bad now, do they? Good Charlotte is just a magnet for the mass media to make money off of teenagers. The REAL punk bands are: Antiflag, Bad Religon, Propaghandi blah blah blah, pretty much anyone who talks about political wrongs and social injustice. Oops, I should have used simpler words.
